教材内容/学情：

本节课的主要活动为阅读和写作，即读写课。重点是让学生通过阅读短文，理解短文，积累写作素材进行写作，完成既定任务。首先是复习本话题表达情感的重点单词。接下来用生活中的图片导入，进入阅读短文。学生通过阅读短文，完成表格，并进行复述。然后通过2a和许多图片让学生讨论保持开心的好方法，完成短文How to stay happy.最后通过分享这个环节，对本节课进行升华，提高学生的情感、态度与价值观。

教学过程设计：

1.Review words. Brain-storming:

Speak up the “feeling” words as many as the students can. 2.Lead-in. Use the photos and WeChat to lead-in: Teacher says “We are very happy, but my friend Cindy was unhappy.” Let the students read WeChat together. Then let them guess what I did for my friend Cindy. Last, show them what I did for Cindy. Tell the students “Today we are going to learn many good ways to stay happy. Now

let’s learn the new words and phrases.”

3.Learn the new words and phrases. 4. While-reading. Part1 ①Read the passage and complete the chart on Page 24. Check the answers together. ②Read and discuss. Ask and answer by students. Then give them some examples and answer together. （Examples :What can affect our moods and feelings? Do you think it important for us to stay in a good mood? What can we do to get back happy feelings when we feel bad?）

③Let the students find out the key points and take notes. Then explain. ④Retell 1 according to the following key words. 5. Written work. First, discuss the ways to stay happy. Second, give them an outline. Then write the main part according to the discussion. Next check the passage together. At last, give them an example. 6. Let’s share.

7. Summary. 8. Homework. ①Correct the mistakes in your writing and then rewrite it. ②Check your writings each other.
