Step 2: Learn the new words 1.The teacher show the pictures about spring and ask: What are you going to do in your spare time? (Let more students answer) 2.the teacher show the ppt to learn the new words: duck, pond,cloud; Then let students read and practice the new words. 3.Play a game.(闪卡游戏) Ask the students to learn the new words by themselves. ①Try to read by themselves as quickly as they can. ②Let Ss read the words in their own small groups. Step 3: Learn the text T: Do you want to know what is Simon going to do today? Please listen to Part1 and try to answer my questions. Are you ready ? Let’s begin. Show the questions on the ppt and ask the children to listen to the tape carefully. Group work: Group A and Group B struggle to answer the three questions and give the winner stickers.
