一、教材分析

课标要求学生能根据要求为图片、实物等写出简短的描述。为学生创造在真实的语境中学会描述物体的特征，要求内容从生活实际出发,贴近生活,便于学生容易掌握。六年级的英语学习要在低年级的听、说、演、唱，游戏的基础上，开始初步用读和写的方法来学习英语，逐步培养学生读和写英语的习惯和能力。

本课内容为小学新标准三起第八册Module5 Unit1，本单元通过Daming 正在举办生日聚会，表演唢呐时三次被打断的情景，让学生理解文意，熟练运用现在进行时和一般现在时描述当某人正在干某事时突然被另一件事所打断。

二、学情分析

本单元的学习任务是描述正在做一件事情时另一件事情同时发生的情境。六年级的学生他们思维敏捷，富有想象力，语言表述能力较强，能够自然地用日常英语进行交流。对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心，充满了表现欲。 三、教学目标 1）语言知识目标：听说读写loudy、bark、time、third、play，nothing等单词，并会使用。

2）语言技能目标;

熟练掌握当某人正在干某事时突然被打断的表达。学会运用句型：He is playing the suona,but the phone rings. 3）

情感态度目标;

朋友之间要友好相处，了解欣赏中国乐器唢呐文化。

4）学习策略目标;

积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务

五、教法与学法 1. 合作学习法

本节课主要采用合作学习法，小组合作可以使师生之间、学生之间更有效地进行语言交际；而且还可以培养学生的合作意识、团队精神，进而促使学生相互学习，共同提高，有力地促进了课堂效率的提高。

2. 以旧带新法

通过对已学过知识，现在进行时和一般现在时的复习导入，让学生能够更好地理解新知识，并掌握新知识。

六、教学过程

Step1. Warm up. T: It’s spring now. The sun is shining and the scenery is very beautiful. Let’s see the spring in New York. Show the pictures and say. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. The rabbits are jumping. The cows are drinking water. The ducks are swimming. They are having a loving time. Step2. lead in. Show the picture of frogs in the pond. T: Please look and guess. They are having a loving time, too.

What are they doing? S1:... S2:... T: Great! Let’s watch the CD-ROM. Step3. Presentation. T: The frogs are having a party. Daming is having a birthday party, too, but some interesting things happen. Which interesting things will happen? Let’s watch. Play the CD-ROM. 1.

What is Daming doing on his birthday? He is playing the suona. (唢呐suona是中国民族吹管乐器的一种。我国非常重视非物质文化遗产的保护，2006年5月20日，唢呐艺术经国务院批准列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。)
