五、教学过程：

（一）导入：Step1 Warm-up Activity 1 T: Look at Ms Smart,do you know what are they doing? S: She is looking for her children. T: What are they doing? S: They are playing hide-and-seek. 让学生先自己识图，以此来复习前课所学的内容，并为新课做好准备。

Why are you here? We’re playing hide-and-seek. （二）探究新知Step 2 Presentation T: Let's review the words about clothes and weather. Can you tell the names of the clothes? Now, let’s read the words together. (让学生圈出生词) 教学新单词raincoat，提示学生这是一个合成词。因为在此之前学生就已学习了rain和coat，所以这个掌握单词对于学生来说并不困难。

T：复习天气状况单词warm,hot,cold,windy,sunny,rainy,snowy... 句型：It’s going to rain/snow. It’s going to be snowy/rainy/cold.... （三）巩固新知

1.Listen to the tape and find “why”, ”because”（老师把关键的疑问词Why写在黑板上）

T：Listen carefully, and tell how many “why”and ”because”did you hear? S: Four. 展示why与because的关系：他们是一对好搭档，why问，because答。

2.Learn the sentences of Activity 2: A: Why are you wearing a raincoat? B: Because it’s going to rain. 学生根据ppt播放的音频，反复听读，同桌之间互相操练，问答。然后根据flash动画播放的视频逐句跟读。

3.Let’s try: a.Why is she laughing?

Because she is happy. 将两个句子合并：She is laughing because she is happy. b.Why is he eating the big cake? Because he is hungry. 合并：He is eating the big cake because he is hungry. 4.

注意：有的时候，我们常会犯一些错误，原因和结果对应不起来，即前言不搭后语，我们称这种句子为错误的句子(silly sentences)。

For example: She is wearing a dress because she is going to swim. I’m wearing a raincoat because I’m going to play basketball. （四）作业布置Homework: Use “why” and “because” to make at least 5 sentences. （五）小结：学会用特殊疑问句
