UNIT 6 Body
Aims and demands: 1.
In this lesson the pupils learn to use: hair, ears, legs, feet, toes, nose, arms, face, mouth, teeth 2.
Do a body rock and colour picture frames according to the lyrics of the song. Teaching Important and Difficult Points: 1.
The pronunciations of ‘ mouth’ and ‘teeth’. 2.
Pay more attention to
the difference between plural forms and singular forms. Teaching Aids: PPT Teaching Process: Step 1: Warming up 1.
Greetings: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls. What day is it today? How are you feeling today? 2.
Sing the song‘Welcome ,welcome back to school’
and do the actions. Step 2: Presentation 1.
Point to all the body parts and ask what they are. Then show the title of Unit 6: Body. (Read it for several times.) 2.
Show the pictures of body one by one and teach and drill
them. Here pay attention to the pronunciations of ‘mouth’ and ‘teeth’. And distinguish the singular and plural forms of ‘toes’

A game: T gives SS different instructions like ‘nose’
…. and SS point to the parts as quickly as possible. Then practice in pairs. 4.
A game: T shows the word cards and SS say the numbers of the pictures on Bb. Then ask S to answer. 5.
Do the body language to show the verbs: ‘shake, touch, open, show’ and drill them. Then the phrases ‘touch your…’

Listen to and sing the song 3 times. 2.
Give us another body song by yourself.
