Unit 2 Numbers

【教学目标】

1.

知识与技能目标：

1）

学生能够正确听说读写单词: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. 2）

学生能够通过小组合作来完成学习任务；

3）

学生能够感受和了解中外数字文化的异同。

2.

情感态度与价值观目标：

1）

通过了解数字在唐诗中的应用，学会尊重和欣赏中国传统文化；

2）

通过中西方数字文化的对比学习，养成爱思考的习惯；

通过了解数字在生活中的应用，培养学生对生活的正确价值观；

【教学重难点】

能够正确读写数字1-10；

2. 能够在生活实际中正确运用数字。

【教学准备】

课件、教学手机、磁性黑板等。

【教学过程】

I.

Warm up / lead in. 1.

T:

Good morning boys and girls! Ss: Good morning teacher! T: Today we are going to learn Unit 2 Numbers (stick writing on the board), before our class, let’s listen and sing a song to warm up! Are you ready?

Ss: Yes! T: Go! 2. T: Do you like reading Tang poems? Ss: Yes, we do. T: I like reading Tang poems too. What’s your favorite Tang poem? Ss: Students’ own answers.

T: Well, my favorite Tang poem is Odd to the Vill. 3.

Lead in. T: Look at the pictures. Do you know this girl in Pink? Ss: No. T: She is Happy Rogers. She is a foreigner. And she loves Tang poems! Do you want to see how she reads Tang poems? Ss: Yes. T: Ok. Let’s see together！

II.

Presentation 1. Arouse interest. Ask students to read the poem in English. 2. Pronunciation correcting.

Ask Ss to learn how to pronounce the words correctly by watching the native teacher’s pronunciation. Then T corrects their pronunciation. 3. Finger counting. Show Ss how to count with fingers in different ways.

4. Writing.

Show Ss how to write the words correctly and then ask Ss to practice by themselves. Ss try to give comments on the writing. T corrects their writing.

III.

Practice

1) Lead students to know about number cultures through the poem 《望庐山瀑布》

using group discussion, short video. 2)

Show Ss the application of numbers in our life. Numbers can be used as code (protect your privacy), game (do not addict to online games), communication (use

wechat to learn Tang poem).

IV.

Homework

Find more Tang poems with numbers in line. Share them with your classmates. V.
