Module 5 Unit 1 He is playing the suona,but the phone rings. 教材分析：

本课的故事是大明正在举办一个生日聚会，当他吹唢呐的时候，被突然发生的事件给中断了。需要学生掌握的语言功能是：Daming is playing the suona, but the phone is rings. 说明事件的变化。本课的内容贴近学生的生活实际，有利于培养学生在真实的语言情景中运用英语进行交际的能力。

设计理念：

“课程是知识，也是经验，还是活动，是体验，更是语言的载体。”根据本课的特点，我采用了“创设真实语境和小组合作学习的教学法，通过给学生出示两封信让学生更好地在没有打开课本的情况下对本课图片信息和文字信息更好地了解，插图引用文本重构，对学生的思维训练有很大的提高。本节课还通过卡片及实物和多媒体课件来呈现课文内容，循序渐进激发学生的学习兴趣，通过大量的活动及游戏来操练、巩固及运用所学知识，让学生在体验中成长，在快乐中学

教学目标：

1．听、说、读、写四会单词：play

2．能听懂、会说功能句：

4．在游戏和活动中培养学生运用英语的能力，提高学生的口语水平，并对英语产生浓厚的兴趣。

5.激发学生的学习热情，并进行文明礼仪教育。

教学过程:

Look at these pictures.What are they doing?\What is she\he doing? 对比这两个句子，引出今天的重点内容如何用英语表达正在做一件事情时被另一件突如其来的事情打断了。

Step6 随文教授新单词。play 弹奏，演奏（音乐）ay 字母组合的发音，让学生根据自然拼读的方法练习读含有字母组合ay 的单词：may.lay.pay.
