Unit2, I’m Liu Tao, the first period (Story time & Fun time) Teaching objectives:

1.

Through this class, the ss will be able to have a general understanding of the sentence patterns of “I’m…”

“Are you...?” and “Yes, I am./No, I’m not”

2.

Ss will be able to recognize the new words: are, you, yes, am, no, not. 3.

Ss will be familiar with the main characters: Mike/Su Hai/Yang Ling/Liu Tao. 4.

Ss will be able to greet with different people and do the self-introduction. Teaching focus and predicted difficulties: 1.

To communicate with people using “I’m…”

“Are you...?”

and “Yes, I am./No, I’m not” and the new words: are, you, yes, am, no, not. 2.
