一、说教材

１．教材分析

本单元为译林版三下《Unit 5 How old are you?》，主要是围绕“How old are you?”来展开话题。本单元Story time部分的学习内容多数在牛津小学英语1B中有所涉及，Cartoon time部分的内容在译林版三上 Unit 2有所涉及。因此，本单元的知识对学生们来说，学习难度不是很大。教师要引导学生通过本课的学习，能够运用文中的重点句型（疑问句）来询问别人年龄。

本节课为第一课时，阅读课。文中涉及的重点句式询问年龄、赠送礼物。学生在一年级已经初步接触此句型，因此学生在学本课时内容时会轻松应对。我将本节课的重点放在了对句式结构的理解和灵活运用上。让学生在开放的语境中主动建构、理解和运用Story time部分教学的句式结构。三年级阅读教学着重培养学生的听、说、演的能力，使学生养成大胆、大声地读和说的良好英语学习习惯。教材中的图片为学生的阅读提供了视觉线索，为学生进行猜测、理解文意提供了基础。

２．设计理念

（1）组织学生扮演角色，说一说，演一演等形式，尽可能多的给学生开口实践的机会，努力培养小学生的英语学习兴趣，使他们想学，爱学，乐学。

（2）创设具体、真实、恰当的情景会有效帮助学生理解、练习和初步尝试运用语言，对提高小学生运用英语的能力提供帮助。

（3）让小学生成为英语课堂的主人，发扬教学民主，创设和谐气氛，增强学生的参与意识，让学生在课堂中活起来。

３．教学目标

1、能听懂、会说、会读单词：nine, eight, four, five, six, seven, ten 2、能听懂、会说、会读句子：How old are you ?及其回答I’m ···. 3、能在情景中正确的使用How lovely ! Here you are.

４．教学重点、难点

新课标指出：“以学生为本”，以学生“能用英语做事情”的描述方式设定各级目标要求，旨在培养学生的英语语言运用能力。

本课情节简单，玩具这一话题比较受孩子喜欢，创设具体、真实、恰当的情景，帮助学生理解、练习和初步尝试运用语言，并合理利用一切可以利用的资源，充分调动了学生的积极性。
