1 教学目标：

知识与技能

(1)能听懂、会说、认读新单词tree planting day，air，place, plant trees ，keep the air clean，keep us cool，make the place beautiful (2)能听懂、理解A部分的故事。

(3)能用“be good for...”告知他人种树的好处；能用“I enjoy doing sth”告知他人自己喜欢种树的意愿；能用“trees can keep...”表达种树的好处。

教学重难点：

重点：能听懂、会说、认读新单词Tree Planting Day，air，place；能听懂、会说词组plant trees ，keep the air clean，keep us cool，make the place beautiful.

难点：能用“be good for...”告知他人种树的好处;

能用“trees can keep...”表达种树的好处。

教学准备：多媒体课件。

讲授，游戏，情境创设，小组讨论等。

教学过程：

Step 1 Warming up（热身）

1、Have a greeting.

2、Review. T：Yesterday we have learnt Unit 3 ,we should learn to take care of ourselves,if we want to be strong and heathy, what should we do ? S1: We should keep our body clean . S2: We should eat healty food. S3: We should do exercises every day . ... 3 、

Have a chant. Our Earth is our home. We should keep the rivers clean. We should keep the air clean and fresh . We should use bikes instead of cars . We should plant more trees.

Step 2 Presentation and drill （新课呈现）

学习单词、短语和句型

1. 情景导入，教学新单词tree planting day。

T：There are so many festivals in china? One day we should plant more trees. Guess! Is it tree planting day?

S：Yes ,it is Tree Planting Day.

T：Tree Planting Day(板书，带读）

2.教学句型“I enjoy ....”和核心词汇trees can keep the air clean，keep us cool，make the place beautiful . T：I enjoy planting trees.Planting trees is good for us. (展示植树图片，板书，带读）

We also enjoy doing sth else .what do you enjoy? S：I enjoy playing games/eating mooncakes /reading books... T：What can trees do?Look at the pictures. 教师用ppt课件依次出现keep us cool ，

keep the air clean ，

make the place beautiful图片及短语，板书并带读。

3、竞赛游戏：用课件呈现B部分图片，让学生利用句型“Trees can...”说句子。全班分成两组进行抢答，每说出一个句子得一分，得分多者为胜。

4、小组讨论。

创设情境：

教师用课件呈现planting trees的场景，

T：It is a Tree Planting Day today，what should we do ? why should we plant trees? What can trees do ? 小组讨论，小组长汇报前面两个问题的答案，第三个问题由其他组员每人说出一个树木的作用。引导学生用what，why等疑问词提问，并熟练说出植树的好处。

Step 3 Practice Learn Part A

1．播放PartA录音，让学生认真听，并说出他们听到的单词或句子。

2．播放教学光碟快速阅读A部分，回答问题。

1）Why do we plant trees ?

2）What can tree do? 3．精读课文，帮助学生理解大意。

4．学生先自读课文，再进行合作，角色扮演，上台展示。

Step 4 Consolidation(巩固)

T: What will happen if there are no trees? (如果没有树地球会怎样？) 学生自由讨论，再分小组汇报。

Step 5 Summary 1、what have we learnt in this class? 2、德育教育:Earth is our only home,we should protect our Earth,we should plant more trees to keep our Earth beautiful.

3. 评价。

Step 6 Homework

1. 边读边抄写B 部分短语四遍。

2. 跟录音读PartA并背诵课文。

3. 跟家人说说植树的好处，树立环保意识。
