Step1:Greeting: Teacher and students greeting to each others. Good afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today! What’s the weather like today?

Do you like cloudy days?/ overcast sky?

Step2:Revision and lead in 1.

Ask two students: Do you like cloudy days? What do you usually do on cloudy days? Did you do it yesterday? Did you learn English yesterday? 2.Oh, you learnt English yesterday, please tell me how to read

this word “important”

3. Tell me how to read this word “invent” What does it mean?

Change “invent” to past tense.

加上ed 变成invented. 读作
