Vacation Plans （第一课时）

教学内容: 小学英语教材《开心学英语》Book 6 Unit2 Vacation Plans 的第一课时。学习句型：How are you going to Guangzhou?以及相关的四个新的短语。教师在教学中，以旧引新，通过创设一些学生熟悉的情景来导入单词和句型。教学中，主要围绕“旅游出行的方式”这个话题展开各种活动。

学情分析：

五年级的学生活泼好动，有着极强的求知欲和表现欲，喜欢直观形象思维。他们已经有了一定的学习基础，在四年级下册已经学习了Where are you going? I’m going to…. 这个句型，并且第一单元已经学习了 What are you going to do? I’m going to…这个句型。在这个基础上，我们本单元继续学习这个时态，对学生来说，比较容易接受。

设计理念: 《英语课程标准》要求小学英语教学以激发学生兴趣为出发点，并提倡采用任务型教学法，因此在本课时教学中注重为学生创设较真实的语言交际情景，同时采用小组交流和课堂活动等方式来学习、操练单词和句型。在课堂教学过程中，始终遵循“多信息、快节奏、勤反复”的原则来展开教学，并注意教学内容的层次性，由浅入深，循序渐进。

教学目标：

1.知识与技能目标：

（1）能听、说、读、写本课新短语：

by ship ,by plane ,by bus, by train。

（2）能够运用句型：How are you going to Guangzhou? 询问并回答。

2.情感目标

（1）通过老师创设的真实的情景教学，激发学生学习的兴趣，集中学生的注意力，提高学习效率。

（2）通过小组合作，培养学生良好的合作精神。

教学重、难点: 教学重点：熟练运用：How are you going to …?与人对话交流。

教学难点：How are you going to …? 以及答语I’m going by….

教学准备: 教具准备：多媒体课件、自制录音、含有板书的内容的色卡版。

教学过程：

Step 1. Warming up 1）

Sing a song. What are you going to do? It’s a vacation. What are you going to do? We’re going to play with friends. We’re going to have a party. It’s a vacation. oh, yeah! A summer vacation. Oh, yeah! It’s a vacation. It’s a summer vacation. It’s a vacation. oh, yeah! A summer vacation. Oh, yeah! It’s a vacation. It’s a summer vacation. 【设计意图：以欢快的歌声引入课堂教学，激发学生的热情，也为下面的话题summer vacation plans作铺垫。】

2)Free talk It’s a summer vacation. Yes, we’re going to have a seven-week summer vacation. It’s going to be a long long time. What are you going to do during the summer vacation? 【设计意图：课前师生进行会话，既可以对第一单元的句型进行复习，引入新课，又可以培养学生在真实的语言情景中进行自由交际的能力，使学生快速地融入到英语学习中去。】

Step 2. Presentation Part 1 We’re going to do a lot of things during the summer vacation. What about Gogo and the Green family? What are they going to do? Let’s listen to the tape and think about these questions. Where is Gogo going for vacation? Where is Jenny going for vacation? Where is Tony going for vacation? Where are Mr. and Mrs. Green going for vacation? （学生听完录音后回答问题并板书 Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong， Taiwan）

【设计意图：新课的导入利用暑假的话题来展开，进而引入让学生最熟悉的Gogo以及格林

一家的暑期旅游计划来引入新课，以带着问题听录音的方式让学生感知新知识。】 Part 2 We know, Gogo is going to Beijing for vacation. How is he going to Beijing? Let’s listen to the tape again and think about these questions. How is Gogo going to Beijing? How is Jenny going to Guangzhou? How is Tony going to Hong Kong? How are Mr. and Mrs. Green going to Taiwan? （学生回答并逐一板书并学习by plane, by bus, by train， by ship.）

【设计意图：让学生根据录音回答问题，不仅很自然地引出了本节课的重点内容，还锻炼了学生的听力和思考问题的能力。】

Part 3 Fill in the blanks according to the tape and the pictures. Gogo is going to _________ for vacation. He’s going by ___________. He’s going to see ______________. Jenny is going to _________ for vacation. She’s going by ____________. …

【设计意图：进一步巩固by bus, by ship, by plane, by train这四个短语，特别是让学生进一步感知going by…，而不是going to by…。】

Part 4 1).（请一位学生起立，用课本卷成话筒状并提问）Hello, Gogo. How are you going to Beijing? I’m going by plane.(板书并操练句子) 2). Ask and answer. 【设计意图：用采访的方式与学生直接对话，不仅从第三人称顺利过渡到第二人称，也创设了浓厚的英语氛围，还调动了学生进行交流的积极性，更提高了学生口语表达能力。】

Step 3. Group work and practice. 1). Talk about the May Day vacation plans, use these sentences below: Where are you going for vacation? I’m going to …. How are you going to …? I’m going by….

2).Finish the form in page 20。

3).根据小组讨论的内容完成以下短文并上讲台展示。

Step 4 .Homework 1).Copy the new words and sentences. (抄单词和句型。）

2).Talk about your vacation plans with your friends .（与你的朋友谈谈你的假期计划。）
