Unit 2 Vacation Plans (the second period)

一、教材内容
本节课是《开心英语》五年级下册 Unit2 Vacation Plans的第二课时,教学内容为Story部分。
二、学生分析
本课时的授课对象是小学五年级的学生。本节课也是继续巩固运用be going to 这一时态进行问答,并要求学生能运用所学到的知识拓展练习写话,说话,从而培养学生能与同学合作,敢开口说英语,写出简单的小作文。
三、教学目标
1.知识目标
(1)学习Story,能听懂理解词汇:Tibet, mountain wolf。
(2)能理解Story 的内容,能够准确地朗读课文并进行表演和复述。
(3)熟练掌握并运用假期旅游计划的相关内容。
2.能力目标
让学生运用本课重点句型以对话的形式进行交流,进一步提高他们口头表达的能力。
3.文化目标
了解西藏地理位置、文化风光,培养学生热祖国情怀。
4.情感目标
让学生把学习和生活紧密地联系起来,通过与朋友制定旅游计划,培养学生共同合作学习的能力,增进学生合作意识。通过有趣的旅游计划,让学生体会到学习英语的乐趣,从而提高他们的学习兴趣。
5.学习策略
通过个人,结对和小组活动等方式,促使学生合作学习,共同继续探讨,运用句型:We’re going to … for a vacation . How are we going there? We’re going by ….Where are we going to stay ? We’re going to stay … What are we going to do there? 进行询问,正确描述交通方式和住宿情况。
四、教学重点,难点
1.教学重点:理解story 内容,正确流利朗读story 内容,并进行表演和复述。
2.教学难点:理解句子:We are going to ...for a vacation. It’s too cold for camping;运用所学知识流畅表达个人旅行计划;根据story 内容填写单词和根据自己实际完成小作文。
