Teaching plan Unit5 Topic1 Section C Teaching objectives: Knowledge objective: master some new words and phrases. Ability objective: can sing an English song and perform a short play. Emotion objective: be fond of English movies ,know about western cultures, and get more positive energy from them. Teaching key points: learn more about the Sound of Music, such as Do Re Mi and The Lonely Goat Herb. Teaching difficult points: understood how to write a passage about a movie. Teaching procedures: Step1 Warming up 1.Sing an English song Do Re Mi, lead in our new lesson. 2.Show our learning aims and get a general idea of Section C. 3.Look at the map of Austria, then say something about this film. Purpose: motivate the students’ interests by singing a song. Step2 Reading 1.

Before reading Listen to the tape so as to catch the main idea, and answer the following two questions. (1).Who are the important roles(角色) in the movie? (2). Why did the father often become angry? 2. While reading (1).Read the text carefully, then finish the table correctly.
