Students have already known some sports or activities, for example, fly a kite, ride a bike, go swimming, etc. II. Overall Design Idea It’s said in the New Curriculum Standards that writing is one of

basic ability students should have in the process of English learning. Students are required to write simple sentences (imitative writing) and greeting words in the right form, which included using punctuation and capital letters in a correct way. And also they’re demanded to describe a picture or an object in simple sentences. In my class, I often develop students’ writing ability on purpose. III. Learning Outcome By the end of this lesson, students can ·

read, write four season words, and understand their meanings. ·express their favorite season using the language “I like … best.”

·write a short passage about their favorite season with the help of the demon.
