Story Corner 一、教学目标:

Step 1 Pre-story 1. Greetings. T: Class begins! Ss : Stand up. T: Nice to see you again. Ss: Nice to see you again. T: How are you today? Ss: 2.Game. T: What day is it today , class? Ss: It’s ... T: Do you like Friday? Ss: Yes, I do.
T::Great. Let’s enjoy our class. First, let’s have some fun. Play a game. Please look at the screen. So many clouds. And you can see some clouds. Maybe there is some lightning. When you see picture, please stand up andsay it loudly. Are you ready? Ss: Yes. T: Good job. You are so smart. 3.Free Talk When do people set off fireworks? Watch a video. Please pay attention to it. T: What holiday is it? S1: New Year. T:It’s New Year. So what do you say on New Year. ? S: Happy New Year! T: I like your answer. What do you want to get on New Year? A kiss? A pen? Or something else? S2: S3: T:You always want to get present/preznt/. Read after me. Present. Look !There so many presents/p'rizents/. I bring some presents. (贴磁卡) Now read after me. Bring, bring Do you like them? Ss: Yes.
Step 2 While-story 1.Watch the video and answer T:Let’s watch a video about these presents. Q1:How many animals are there? T: What are they? Ss:
T:They are rabbit,pig ,cat,dog and hen. T:Who brings presents for them? 2.Self-learning 自学:
Find and circle where is the hen. T: Please read the passage by yourselves and try to answer the question. Ss: T: Do you know where is the hen? S: T: Someone find the answer. Now work in your group. T:Let’s check together. T: Where is the hen? Ss: In the coop. T: You did a good job. Now let’s discuss in your group try to answer these two questions.
3.Group- learning 互学:
Help each other to find the answer. Does Mr Brown get present? Who brings Mr Brown present? T: Which group can give me your answer? Ss: 4.Reading T: Wonderful! I think you understand the passage very well. Now let’s listen and follow the radio. First time, please read correctly. Second time ,please read emotionally with gestures. Third time. Read in role. T: so great! 5. Fill in the table and retell the story Do you still remember what presents do they get? Let’s watch the video again and then, finish task 1on your paper.
