Weather 教学目标

知识与能力：

1.能听、说、读、写单词：Cold, warm, cool, hot. 2.能灵活运用句型It’s ...in 来介绍各地的天气情况。

教学重点：运用It’s ...in ..来介绍各地的天气

教学难点：单词的拼读和语法句型

教学步骤：

1.warm-up 师：Today, we are going to learn “Weather”. 出示PPT.展示“Weather”的拼读。师：We should focus on two points. First, “ea”pronounced /e/,such as bread, sweater,head,breakfast. Second point is “ther”, such as brother, mother, father, together. 2.Presentation 师：Who is this?(show a picture of Doreamon) 生：It’s Doreamon. 师：Yes. He and his friends are going to have a wonderful trip. Let’s go with them to see where they are going to. PPT出示中国地图，师：This is a map of China. I know they are

going to four places. The first one is Hong Kong. It’s in the south of China. Look at this picture, is it beautiful? (生齐答)

It’s a pearl of our country. What’s the weather like today?It’s 35 degrees.(板书) We say it “hot”. Please follow me to read it.So who can answer the question ? What’s the weather like in Hong Kong?( It’s hot in Hong Kong.) 师：Now let’s chant. It’s hot outside. I can drink some ice water. It’s nice. 3.以此为例，指出哈尔滨，拉萨和北京的天气状况。

4.Game Who is missing? 出示warm,cool,hot,cold四个单词，轮流蒙住一个单词，让同学们猜一猜是哪个单词不见了？看看谁的眼力好

师：Look at the date. It’s Dec. 25th. So, guess it’s___.(露出照片的一角，根据日期来猜测单词) 5.Practice 挑战主持人（Challenging the host）

首先在练习本上写出草稿，再与同桌商量，互相交流，之后找出几位同学上台演讲，用给出四个地点，以主持人的语句来播报天气情况

6.Homework

Watch the weather report and write it down. Tell us what the

weather is like tomorrow. 板书
