Unit 4.Bobby’s house Lesson 2 sleeping, eating, drinking, cooking, washing, playing等.
2)能够听懂和回答人物正在做什么的句子:what is he/she doing? He/ she is sleeping.
Teaching aims:1)能够指认和说明正在进行的动作:
The difficulties of the teaching: 1)对she和he的理解和辨认;
2对句子的理解和使用。
The importance of the teaching: 1词汇的操练和检测;
2句型的复习和巩固。
Teaching procedures: Warming up: 1)
greeting. Say “hello” to each other. 2)
Let’s sing the song that we have learnt before. (play the flash and sing together.) Lead-in: 1)
show the ppt .(play the ppt and let the students to review some scene of the story)
T: who is she? Is she Bobby’s mom? S: No, she is Booby’s sisiter. T:So, what is she doing? Who want try? S: let me try. She is sleeping.

Write this sentence on the blackboard and tell the meaning of “she”. Then use the different means to practice the structure. a.
Teaching the Ss to read. b.
T read the question sentence. S read the answer sentence. c.
Change the way base on b. 3)Introduce the second and third sentence use the same way. Learn the words 1)Show the picture and let them to think about what is she doing. T:Now look at this picture. What is she doing? S: she is sleeping. Have the Ss read after me. Then read one by one or two by two.(should pay attention to the pronounciation of single letter)

Use the same way to teach “washing”, “cooking”. 4)
Show the new words: eating T:Now look at the picture and tell me “what is he doing?”. S:…………. T: Is he cooking? S:No. T: Ok. He is eating. Now, lead them to practice the words(drinking playing)use the one by one.

Read out and act out follow me.(sit down and stand up) To practice and exercise. 6)
Play the game(I speak , you act.) Ask three Ss come to the front of the classroom. Then I speak out a words lowly to the other Ss, the Ss speak it out loudly to the three Ss. 7)
Little test.
The teacher point the picture of one words and the Ss should speak out and act out the words. 8)
Play a game again .(I speak , you pat.)According to the situation of the Ss if we should do this game.根据学生对单词掌握的情况来决定是否做这个游戏环节。

I ask, you answer.(use the picture to ask the Ss:what is
she/he doing.)
Then change the way: the Ss ask and the T answer.
10)Give the pictures to the Ss who can answer the question: this is she or he? And then let the Ss to ask the other Ss.

To practice the Ss’ writing. Homework:1)write the new words that we have learnt.
