教学准备：自带衣物,竞赛用的服装图片。

教学过程：

Step1 Warm up

1: Rules

The teacher has many clothes. If you can answer a question, you will get one. At last, we complete boys or girls，who can get more on the hanger！

(设计意图：用竞赛的形式帮助学生更积极地融入课堂中。同时，用今天所学的服装来进行奖励更激发学生的兴趣。)

2. Free talk

T: What day is it today?

S: It’s ...

T: What lessons do you have this morning?

S: We have Chinese, Maths and English.

T: Are you happy today?

S: Yes, I am.

(设计意图：通过free talk的形式，帮助学生创造一种说英语的氛围，为下面的口语表达做好铺垫。)

Step2 Presentation and practice

T: Today we will have a Fancy Dress Party.

Teach: party

Then the teacher shows the pictures of the party on the blackboard.

1. Enjoy a song.

First let’s enjoy a song. Before listening, I have two questions.

Q1: What clothes appear in the song?

Q2: Whose dress is this?

Teach the title: Unit 6 Whose dress is this?

The students read the title after the teacher.

T: Now let’s enjoy the song. After listening, check the answers.

Q1: Dress, shirt and hat. The teacher takes a dress out and teaches the word “dress”.

Q2: It’s Sally’s.

Teach the sentence: Whose … is this? It’s …’s.

（设计意图：在课开始的时候欣赏歌曲，调动学生的积极性，在听的之前给学生两个问题，让他们有意义的去听歌曲，而不是茫无目的。）

2. Brain storm

T: If you will take part in a fancy dress party, what clothes should be prepared? Can you say some?

Ss: Cap/shirt/trousers…

Teach: trousers.

Then the teacher takes out trousers and asks: “Can you guess whose trousers are these?”

Teach: Whose … are these? They’re …’s.

T: Can you guess?

S: They’re ××’s.

（设计意图：开动学生的脑筋，不是死气沉沉的教授单词。贯穿party这一主题，围绕这一主题教授单词和句型。）

3. Guessing game

Look, there are two persons: who are they?

Ss: they’re Lan Yang Yang and Dora.

T: Whose coat is this?

Ss: It’s Dora’s.

T: Yes, it’s Dora’s. But maybe it’s too big.（teach “too”）

Maybe she can try this. (出示另外适合Dora穿的外套)

Teach “try this”.

There are three persons: Kimi, Angela, Cindy

T: What are these? (showing the picture of gloves) They’re gloves.

T: Can you guess whose gloves are these?

Ss: They’re Kimi’s.

T: But they’re so big. Maybe he can try these.

Teach “so” “try these”.

Pay attention to the difference about “try this” and “try these”.

（设计意图：对上一环节的句型进行练习，巩固句型。同时引出try this 和try these。）

4. Listen and circle

T: Now let’s join the Fancy Dress Party. First listen to the tape and circle what clothes you have heard on your books.

After listening, check the answers: dress, trousers, gloves.

5. Watch and choose

The students watch the vedio and choose

②Su Yang’s trousers are too A . A. long B. short

③Helen’s dress is her B . A. father’s B. cousin’s

Teach “cousin”

（设计意图：这两个部分的练习是让学生在听的基础上理清思路，对故事情节有一个更好地理解和掌握。）

6. Read after the vedio and try to imitate.

Step4 Consolidation

1.Work in pairs to read the text.

After the students read, inviting some groups to perform.

（设计意图：读完后请学生表演，让学生敢于表现自己，敢于大声的说英语。同时，让学生有一种团队意识。）

2. A flea market

Cartoon characters will have a flea market. You can help them talk about the clothes with the sentences we have learnt.

(tips)A: Can I help you?

B: I’d like …

A: Whose …is this?/are these?B: It’s/They’re…’s.

A: Oh, too…(long, short, big, small…)

（设计意图：用跳蚤市场这一生活情境，帮助学生更好地巩固今天教授的新单词和句型。学生也可拓展思路进行对话。）

Step5 Homework

1. Listen and read after the tape 4 times;

2. Try to use the sentences we have learnt today to talk about your friends’ clothes.
