教学内容

《Ben Wants to Play Football》是广州市小学英语课程标准实验教科书年六年级上册U7 Ben Wants to Play Football中的第一课时的内容。本节课主要通过复习邀请用语Would you like to …

/Shall we …/Do you want to …等,用接龙游戏的形式,让学生操练以上句型及其答句,让学生能在实际中运用这些句型。接着引出新授课文,让学生先看金太阳光碟,然后回答与课文有关的问题。学生在理解课文大意的同时,用已学单词解释新单词,让学生理解新单词的意思,完成新单词的学习。然后,进行课文的朗读及表演。最后,选读与邀请有关的短文,作为拓展阅读,完成相关练习,最后小组讨论。

教学过程

一、热身与复习

1、学生齐读chant Would you lie to come to tea? Do you want to play with me? Come to tea! Play with me! We can sit and watch TV.

Would you like to sing a song? Do you want to sing along? Sing a song, sing along, We can sing the whole day long.

2、复习

(1) T: Wow, it’s the National Day soon. We have 7-day holiday. Would you like to come to tea with me? Would you like to go swimming/have dimsum/play computer games/have dinner in the toilet…? 板书句型:A:Would you like to 。。。?

B: Yes, I’d love to. / No, thanks. (2) 复习动词短语,游戏chain game T1:play football

T2: play football, watch TV

T3: play football, watch TV, go boating (3) 学生俩俩说,用邀请句型来邀请对方假期一起做什么。

(4) 书P34接龙游戏,用不同的邀请用语来询问,增加难度。

二、新授课学习

1、带着问题来看金太阳课文视频,然后回答问题,以此理解课文大意。

T: Ben is our friend. E is talking about his plan now. Do you want

to know what would Ben like to do and what is he going to do?

1). Will Dad play football with Ben?

No, he will not.

(will not = won’t

带读音标,板书) 2). Is Janet going to see the film with Ben?

Well, maybe later.

(later由earlier的反义引申出来) 3). Does Ben have something to do? So how is he now?

No, he has nothing to do. He is bored.

(bored means someone has nothing to do. ) 4). Will Ben go shopping with mum?

No, he won’t.

(复习won’t) 5). What is Ben going to do at last?

He’s going to play computer games with Mike. 2、全班齐读课文,分角色扮演。

三、拓展阅读

A Swimming Pool Party 设计两个练习题型,选择题和填空题,最后设计两个开放性问题,让学生小组讨论,请小组代表发言。

2。根据文章大意填空,用上文中出现的词语。

3。思考题

1) What do you think of a swimming pool party?

2) What party do you like best? (birthday party, Christmas party, picnic, BBQ, mask party, sleeping party, swimming party…)

教学反思

六年级上册的第三单元第一课的教学内容对于六年级的学生来说难度不大,课文内容易于理解,所以教授课文内容不用花太多时间,只要通过设置几个与课文有关的问题就能引导学生理解掌握课文大意。此单元主题是第一单元的句型的运用与延伸,在引入部分可设计为给学生复习和归纳邀请句型,通过游戏让学生对邀请句型操练上口,然后将这些句型作实际运用。最后通过阅读拓展学生视野,介绍西方国家流行的聚会活动,小组讨论,总结讨论内容,代表发言。
