一、Analysis of the teaching material 本课教材为外研社（三年级起点）六年级下册Module 5 Unit 1 He is playing the suona, but the phone rings.本单元的话题是描述正在做一件事情时另一件事情同时发生的场景。Daming 在他的生日聚会上为朋友吹唢呐，此时电话响了，他只好停下来。然后Daming再次吹起唢呐，但门铃响了，他又停了下来。这时又来了不少朋友，Simon的小狗也来了。Daming 第三次吹起唢呐时，小狗大声叫了起来，朋友们都听不到Daming的演奏。Simon 对小狗说：“别叫了！”小狗再也不叫了，大家都笑了起来。本单元的学习重点是通过介绍聚会进一步强化复习现在进行时的运用。本单元共1课时。

二、Analysis of the students 本单元的教学对象是六年级学生，该年龄段的学生已经有一定的英语基础，也掌握了学习英语的基本方法。单元内容以生日聚会为语言情境而展开，话题贴近学生的生活实际。利用学生感兴趣的场景，诱导学生运用本课所学的语言知识，积极实践，大胆交流。达到复习运用现在进行时态的目的，通过复习使全体学生能运用所学语言结构描述正在做一件事情时另一件事情同时发生的场景。
