MODULE 1 Unit 1 I want a hot dog,please. 1. Analyze teaching material: The lesson is unit 1 of module 1 in book 8 of new English standard. It’s mainly about how to order food and drink. As the first unit, it not only arouses students’ interest but also help them get a basic understanding of this module.

Firstly, I will greet my students and ask them to listen to a song just like “good morning, boys and girls. How are you today? You’re fine, right!
