VI. Teaching procedures

Step 1. Warming up

a) To review the passage we have learned last class and fill the blank b) Students should look at PPT and say out what time is it.

Step 2. Presentation

a) To show a picture and students should guess the new word.

b) To show a video and present the new words and new phrases Step 3. Practice a) Students follow me to read these new words (later ,

to go , duck, pond,

cloud,

dry,

like,

look like and stay.). b) There are 4 groups; each group should read one word twice. Then, students stand up and read new words one by one.

c) To show some questions and check it by video. d) To show pictures and students should spell the new words. Then I will write down on the blackboard. e) Translate the whole passage. f) Analysis the main sentences and grammar. Step 4. Consolidation Game

To divide all students into 4 groups：

a)

Each group needs a volunteer who should turn to blackboard.

b)

Students should pass the card one by one with music, when music stops, and who take the card should do the body language and volunteers should guess which room.

Guessing game should review words and phrases we learned this class on the basis of body language. According to this game, students can learn the new words and phrases well. Step5.Summary To review the new words and phrases.

Step6. Homework. 1. Write the new words and phrases each twice. 2. Preview next part. VII. Blackboard design（另附一页）

IX. Reflection Students can read and write the new words and phrase correctly on the basis of body language. The class went on well. But in the end of class, students were not active, and I should find some ways to change this condition.
