C Story time

一、教学目标

1、知识目标:

(1).学生能够通过阅读趣味故事,复习巩固本单元所学语言,增加语言输入。

(2).能听懂、会说句型:What are ……hobbies?He/ She likes ……Does he/she……? Yes, he/she does; No, he/she doesn’t;

(2).并运用句型:Does he/she like......? 询问动物的爱好,向别人获取信息。

2、能力目标:

(1).能按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读故事;

(2).能在创设的语境中再构核心语言并灵活运用语言。

(一)Pre-reading

1.Freetalk

师生一起谈论关于动物的爱好的话题。

T:Look at the picture,what do you see? Yes, animals!

What animals do you like?

How about this one?(引出squirrel)

Q1:What animal do you like?

Q2:What are......hobbies?

Q3:Does he/she like......?

设计意图:通过师生对话,创设轻松愉快的学习氛围,自然引入本课话题。

(二)While-reading

1. Watch and guess

T:Well,today we will talk about the story about squirrel.

Now, Let’s view these pictures and answer my questions.

Q1:Who are they?

Q2:Where are they?

Q3:What's happenning?

设计意图:引导学生观察插图,预测图中人物和故事情节,激发学生的阅读兴趣,提高学生的预测技能。

2. Read and fill

T: You have a good guess! And do you want to read this story?

Now, open your book, read and fill the blank.

Q: What are the Zac and Monkey King’s hobbies?

设计意图:通过快速阅读,寻找关键信息,让学生从整体上把握文章内容,培养学生的快速阅读能力。

T: Now, Let’s check the answer.

So, are they good friends? Why?

3.Read and answer

T:Now, read the picture4 and picture 5 and answer the questions

Q1:What did the monkey king do?( threw ... out of )

Q2:What’s happen to Zac's tail?(bushy)

设计意图:通过分段阅读,并回答每段预设的问题,理解深入到细节,获取更多的文章信息,同时培养学生的细读能力。

4.Read and order

T:OK! Do you understand the story well? Now, order these pictures.

设计意图:图文排序帮助学生理清故事情节,梳理文章脉络。

5.Read and imitate

T: Well! You do a good job! I know you know the story well,can you read it well?

Firstly, read by yourself;

Secondly, listen and follow the tape;

Thirdly read after teacher.

设计意图:通过试读和跟读课文,学生英语朗读的语音语调可以得到训练及提升,同时,引导学生养成正确的意群朗读习惯。

6. Fill and retell

T: Now, close your books, and try to fill the blanks and retell the story.

设计意图:以填空的形式复述故事,帮助学生更好地整体理解文本内容,提高学生的理解能力。

7.think and say

T: We know the squirrel’s tail became bushy ,but do you know the reason?

Q:Why the tail become bushy?(进行科普教育)

设计意图:通过讨论引入科学知识,将课内学习延伸到课外,拓展学生的知识面。

(三)Post-reading

1. Think and discuss

T: Look at picture 5 and picture 6

Can you image what will happen when the squirrels’tails become bushy?

设计意图:充分发挥学生的想象力,让学生能够运用所学的知识回答问题。

2.Give a title

T: Now, you understand the story well ,so could you give it a title?

Could you give a name to the story?()

设计意图:给故事命名是考察学生对故事主旨把握的程度,同时锻炼学生提炼课文中心词的

能力。

(四)Homework

T: OK, so much for this class, and this is your homework.

1. Tell this story to your parents.

2. Could you find out the other magic tails of animals?

设计意图:布置学生感兴趣、贴近生活实际的作业,将课内学习迁移到课外,巩固所学的语言知识,提高综合运用语言的能力
