一、教学目标: 1、会说，会听，会认单词和词组：the Spring Festival, Chinese New Year, spend, make rice cakes ,make dumplings, have a family dinner 2、会说、会听句子: What’s the Spring Festival?

It’s Chinese New Year.

How do you spend it?

We make rice cakes . We make dumplings. We have a family dinner. 教学准备: 教学课件、单词卡片

情感态度: 让学生感受中国的传统节日，激发学生的热爱传统文化的情感。

二、教学设计

课前让学生听歌曲“Happy New Year”

（一）导入

1、与学生互致问候。

2、课件播放春节的有关图片，让学生感受春节的气氛。

（二）教授新知

1、从课件中导出新词组“the Spring Festival”，教授词组“the Spring Festival”

（1）教师教读，学生跟读。

（2）以小组读的方式巩固。

（3）点出课题。

2、课件出示Sally的图片，教师说：“Sally 想知道‘When is the Spring Festival?’and‘What’s the Spring Festival?’

”。导出“It’s Chinese New Year.”并教授。

3、游戏：Set off the firework. 4、过渡：春节真是热闹，我们是怎么过春节的呢？引出句型：How do you spend it?”

（1）教读单词spend a、教师带读，学生跟读。

b、教师问：What’s the meaning of“it”？

生：the Spring Festival / Chinese New Year. 师：How do you spend it？

（课件出示吃年夜饭的图片，引导学生回答have a family dinner）

（2）教授单词family及词组have a family dinner a、教师带读单词family。

b、教师拿出吃年夜饭的图片，教授词组have a family dinner。

（3）师：What kind of food will we eat in family dinner？

(课件出示图片饺子，年糕，汉堡，三明治，让学生选择）

师过度：Yes，we make rice cakes to spend the Spring Festival。（课件呈现做年糕的图片和词组）

（4）教授词组make rice cakes a、出示米饭和蛋糕让学生认读，再把两个单词相连，变为rice cakes ，教读。

b、出示做年糕的图片，教读make rice cakes。教师请学生来读。

c、教师提问且课件出示问句“How do you spend it？”引导学生回答“We make rice cakes.”（板书）

（5）教授词组make dumplings 师：we also make dumplings.(课件出示图片和词组）

教师教读单词dumpling 师：“How do you spend it？”

生：We make dumplings.（板书）

师：How do you spend the Spring Festival?（教师指向黑板的三个答句，让学生回答出：“We have a family dinner”

“We make rice cakes.”

“We make dumplings.”

（6）过渡

a、教师说：Look，Sally，Yang Ming and Lily，they also talk about the topic,please look at the blackboard ,listen and read after it.

b、学生跟着录音读课文。

c、学生齐读课文。

（三）拓展练习：询问同桌何如过节？

1、师：Now，interview your desk mate “How do you spend the

？

（New Year、Children’s Day、Christmas Day...）

2、同桌互相提问。

3、完成表格。
