Step 1. Warming up
Free talk
T: Good morning, everybody. Are you happy today? Ss: Yes, I am.
T: Why? Are you going to play games? ……….
Ss: Yes, I am going to….. T: I am happy, too. Because Summer holiday is coming. I am going to have a vacation. I have some vacation plans. (板书:Unit 2 Vacation Plans) I am going to Tibet. Do you want to go on vacation with me? Let’s go.
【设计意图:课前师生进行简单的会话,既可以拉近师生间的距离,又可以培养学生在真实的语言情景中进行自由交际的能力,使学生快速地融入到英语学习中去。】
Step 2. Presentation
Part 1
1).Look at the picture. I’m going to Tibet. (出示西藏的图片)Then know about Tibet. (出示中国地图,西藏在哪里,认识西藏里的名胜古迹、特产)利用中国地图引导出句型:Where are you going to go?(板书)教单词:Tibet(板书),提问学生读单词和句型。
【设计意图:新课的导入自然顺畅,利用学生身边最熟悉的话题(旅游)来展开话题,让学生感觉既亲切又轻松。】
2)以同样的方法教学句型及单词:How are you going to get there? I am going by bus / by ship / by plane / by train.
3). Read and drill the words: by bus, by ship, by plane, by train.
Part 2
1).Next week, I am going to goTibet. I am going to stay in a hotel. (出示图片)Now answer my question: Where are you going to stay?
引导出新句型:Where are you going to stay? I’m going to stay in a hotel.(板书)学习单词stay in a hotel并反复操练。接着,用相同的句型导出单词:stay with my aunt and uncle and go camping.
2). Read and drill the words: stay in a hotel, go camping, stay with my aunt and uncle.
3). And I am going to go sightseeing. What are you going to do? 学习单词go sightseeing 并反复操练。
Step 3. Game
1). Talk about the new words together.
2).Guessing game..
【设计意图:通过游戏让所有的学生都参与到语言学习中来,运用所学新知识进行交流,加深记忆,学以致用。】
Step 4 .Presentation
1).Speaking (出示图片):My vacation plan. (让学生对话。)
Sa:Hello, Summer holiday is coming. Where are you going to go?
Sb: I am going toShanghai.
Sa: How are you going to get there? Sb: I am going by plane.
……( Let Ss talk each other.)
2). Look at the vacation plan and talk about it. (根据每人手上的计划,和同学互相对话了解同学的计划。)
【设计意图:通过表演对话,给学生一个真实而又充满趣味性的活动,激发学生的好奇心,充分调动学生学习的注意力。】
Step 5. 扩展活动:My vacation plan
完成表格,My vacation plan,根据表格,完成短文。
【设计意图:这两个活动都有一个共同的目的,使学生面对直观的旅游情节进入到真实的语言情景中,充分发挥学生对事物的观察力、想象力和语言表达能力,使师生在课堂上自由交流。】
Step 6. Sum up
1. Read the sentences.
2.Let’s go on a vacation. But I have some trips for you. (教育学生做一位文明的旅客。)
Step 7 .Homework
Talk about your vacation plans with your friend’s .(与你的朋友谈谈你的假期计划。)
