一、教学目标

1.语言能力

(1)能听懂、会说、认读keep our body clean,eat healthy food,feel happy,do exercise every day等，进一步熟悉以上词组。

(2)学生能够通过对文本的理解有效猜测生词around,hour,does tai chi,sometimes等。

(3)学生能够对文章中相关的观点进行评价；

(4)学生能够以小组合作的形式讨论“What can we do to keep healthy? ”，升华文本主题。

2.文化品格

(1)学生能够意识到保持身体健康的重要意义；

(2)学生能够树立较强的健康意识和尊老爱老品质。

二、教学过程

Step 1 Pre-reading 1.T:Greetings. I hope you will be happy in English class. 2.

Show pictures. T: Who’s he? Ss:He’s Hawking.（霍金）

T:What do you think of him? S1:He’s smart. T:You’re smart,too. S2:He’s great! S3:He’s happy. ... T: In my opinion, he is weak in body,but strong in will. 3.

Watch a vedio about Hawking.（霍金）

T：Hawking put forward the theory of black hole. He thought people can go through time and space. Do you believe that? Ss:Yes! T:Maybe it’s true. I really want to have a try. Let’s try together,OK? Ss:OK! (出示图片)An Alien:You can go through 40 years.But you should make two preparations.(做好两个准备) T:40 years later,I will be a 70-year-old woman.How about you? S1:I will be 52. S2:I will be 51. ... An alien: Think about what old people can do to keep healthy. S1:They can run. S2:They can eat healthy food. ...

设计意图：以旧知引新知。用头脑风暴形式复习所学内容。

T:Old people can do a lot of things to keep healthy. Getting old is also a happy thing. 设计意图：呈现图片和配乐，让学生从视觉上、心理上感悟变老也是一件幸福的事。

An alien: Learn from Mr Lin. 设计意图：通过外星人安排的任务，过渡到文本阅读，激发学生阅读兴趣。

Step 2 While-reading 1.

快速阅读，了解文章大意。(P11) （1）How old is Mr Lin? （2）How is Mr Lin’s life? Tips:Underline the answers. (教会学生在文章中找答案，并画记。) S1: Mr Lin is an 80-year-old man. S2:His life is happy and healthy. (请这两位学生上台指出答案所在的位置，这样起到良好的示范作用.) 2.

Circle the phrases: in the morning, for lunch, in the afternoon, at night. 细读“In the morning...”部分，回答问题：

What does Mr Lin do in the morning? Tips:Underline the key words. in the morning He does taichi. takes a long walk. goes home. Early in the morning...(通过语境让学生领会early的意思)

出示图片：It’s 6:09.She gets up early. It’s 10:10.He gets up late. ...around the park.(通过语境让学生领会around的意思)

出示图片：Mr wu always takes a long walk around Songya lake. (通过身边熟悉的人、熟悉的事，让学生领会词句的意思）

Group 1 Task 1: What does Mr Lin eat for lunch? (将学生分为两个大组，第一大组完成任务一。四人合作，拿出任务单，在文章找到答案，并勾选出食物图片）

Group2 Task 2: What does Mr Lin do tn the afternoon? (第二大组完成任务二。四人合作，拿出任务单，在文章找到答案，并勾选出正确答案）

一大组请一人上台展示答案。

Mr Lin eats rice with fish, chicken and vegetables. 二大组请一人上台展示答案。

Step 3 Post-reading 1.The alien:Congratulations!You’re ready! T:We can go through tome and space now. 出示教师2018年的照片，穿越后，呈现教师2058年的照片。

T：I will be old in 2058.But I will also be happy and healthy. If you meet Hawking,what will you say to him? ”Hello,Dr Hawking! Long time no see! I wish you happy and healthy. You can_______. Take care of youself.”
