2.Revision：Talk about the pictures 教师展现两张风景图，一张图片为树木成林，绿意盎然；另一张图片为工厂林立，没有树木。

学生自由讨论并描述两幅图，旨在复习学过的单词和句型，为导入本课的主题“Planting

Trees”做铺垫。例如：

T：What can you see in Picture 1／Picture 2？

S1：I can see．．．

T：Which picture do you like better?Step 2 Presentation 1.New words 通过图片的对比，谈论树木的影响，引出新词组。

T：What should we do for the environment? Ss: We should plant trees. What can trees do? （1）keep the air clean ①通过两张北京图片的对比引出新单词：air ②通过两张图片进行比较，引出新词组。

T：Is the air clean in Picture l／Picture 2? Ss：The air is clean in Picture 2．

T：Why? S1：There are lots of trees in Picture 2．

T：You're so clever．Trees can keep the air clean．

操练词组keep the air clean。

（2）keep us cool 鼓励学生继续观察图片讨论树木给我们生活带来的积极影响。

T：Trees are very important for us．What else can trees do for us? 出示图片，引出新词组。

T：It’s hot．What can trees do for us?S1：Trees can keep us cool．

（3）make the place beautiful 展示一张光秃秃的山和绿树成荫的山的对比图片。

T：Is this place beautiful? Ss：No，it isn't．

T：Is this place beautiful now? Ss：Yes，it is. T：So the trees can make the place beautiful．

操练新单词place。还可引导学生拓展思维，将place换成其他更具体的地点词，练习说新句型。

S1：Trees can make the road beautiful．

S2：Trees can make the school beautiful．

S3：Trees can make the garden beautiful．

（5）词汇操练

①游戏：句子接龙

引导学生将句子拆分成单词、词组进行操练，以小组为单位进行接龙游戏。

clean——keep the air clean——Trees can keep the air clean．

cool——keep us cool——Trees can keep us coo1．

beautiful———make the place beautiful———Trees can make the place beautiful．

（这一游戏旨在帮助不同层次的学生操练新知，教师应尽量让学生全面参与。相对于英语基础较好的学生，教师还可进行拓展，如加上nice，comfortable等单词，学生可模仿编短语、造句。）

2.The dialogue 课文学习：教师可分步骤循序渐进地引导学生熟悉课文。
