本节课教材分析：

本课主要初步学习时间状语从句和要求、建议、邀请及其应答。时间状语从句往往会和进行时态连用。学习相关的新词汇，为后面的听读扫除障碍。然后通过复习上节课的作业，导入新课的学习。解决了词汇和语法以后，再通过听1a (Class activities)来完成1b和预做1c。

让学生再读1a，完成1c并核对答案.通过完成1a 和 1c，再设计几个问题让学生通过听并懂得获取信息的技巧来学生加深对1a的理解，接下来就开始解决1a中的重难点，顺便处理任务2。完成导学案的练习题。

（1）while和

when引导的时间状语从句中时态的正确运用。

（2）理解时间状语从句中一般现在时表示将来的用法。

Ⅲ. Learning strategies （1）通过图片来预测听力内容，并善于利用关键词来解决听力任务。如：1b的听力任务。

（2）利用构词法、同义词或反义词来学习新词汇。如：postcard, seaside, vacation等。

V Teaching procedures

Step1:Revision

1.Greetings between students and teachers;

2.Class activity: I explored Tian’anmen Square during my summer vacation. What about you? Get the students to check their homework –“Of their favorite trips”, pay attention to the tense and sentence structure. (复习现在进行时和过去进行时，为学习时间状语从句做准备，并学习部分新词汇。)

Step2:Presentation

1.To teach the new words, then guide the students to read them.

2. Class activity1: Listen to 1a and tick the pictures according to what you hear, then check the answers, to complete 1b; (通过听来整体感知1a，培养学生的听力技能，并完成1b)

3. Class activity2:Read 1a and number the following sentences, complete 1c. Then try to retell it together; (培养学生快速阅读获取信息的能力)

4.Class activity3 :Listen to 1a again and answer the following questions: (培养学生听并获取信息的能力) 1)Who is Darren? 2)What was Darren doing while Michael was enjoying his trip? 3)What did Michael invite Darren to do?

4)What did Michael want Kangkang to do?

5. Class activity4:Read and match the sentences. Then find more similar expressions from 1a and practice with your partner, to complete 2; （培养合作学习，自主学习的能力，巩固邀请/请求/建议及其应答语。）

7.To find out the key points:1)The use of “while” and “when”;“While” 只用于指一个时间段（只能与延续性动词连用），

表示主句与从句动作同时发生。“while”也可以作为名词来使用，表示“一段时间，

一会儿”，如：for a while, after a while.

for example:We were reading books while our teacher was writing on the blackboard. “When”它既可指一个时间点，又可指一个时间段；可与延续性动词连用，也可与非延续性动词连用。
