Food Festival Topic 2 I’m not sure whether I can cook it well. Section A

一、Teaching Analysis of the teaching material: This is the first period of Topic 2,which is about the usage of object clauses with “whether”.In this period,Kangkang is going to learn how to cook Chinese food,but he is worried he can’t do it well,so he turn to his mother.The students must learn to express : Would you like…? Well done!/Excellent!/ Perfect!and so on. The students should learn adverbs of manner: finely, lightly, quickly, healthily…and talk about sequences: First, Next, Then,after that, Finally 二、Teaching aims and demands

Presentation

1Ask the students,”Do you know how to cook fried rice?”Today,we are going to learn about it.Lead to the new words.

2. Get the students to look at the pictures on the slide,and learn the new words in Section A. 3.Play the flash for the students to listen and watch,then answer the following questions: Q1: What will Kangkang cook for the food festival? Q2:Does Kangkang want his mother to help him? Then check the answers. 4.Learn the importances and difficulties in the conversations. Step 3

Consolidation

1.Listen to 1a again and repeat.Pay attention to the process of cooking fried rice. 2. Act out the conversation of 1a in pairs.

3.Retell the steps of making fried rice according to 1a. Then finish 1b. Step 4

Practice

本堂观摩研讨课上完后，听课老师们的反馈还是比较好的，个人感觉也比较满意。

我把对学生英语听、说、读、写的综合运用能力的提高在教学中得到很好的体现。教学生词与词组、句子巧妙地结合，让学生在“做中学，在学中做”。教学过程中非常注重培养学生自主合作探究的学习能力，善用启发教学，循循善诱，引导学生自己发现问题，总结规律。让学生的思维得到开拓。能根据学生的实际情况，调整教学策略。课堂上关注学生的学习状态，用鼓励性语言，激励他们积极参与学习，教学效果良好。
