教学目标：

1、利用自然拼读法，学生能够准确听、说、认读本课的4个单词。

2、通过各种兴趣活动，学生熟练运用Look at that ... .It’s ....句型，描述动物的外貌特征，强化口语表达能力，增强爱护动物的情感。

3、借助全身动作反应法，学生充分理解歌谣内容，边说边做，产生爱学英语的情感。

教学重点： 1、利用自然拼读法，学生能够准确听、说、认读本课的4个单词。

2、通过Let’s do,学生强化记忆本课的4个单词。

教学难点： thin 的正确读音。

教具： PPT、video、tape、cards 教学流程：

一、热身：

PPT： Say a chant. Look at the bear. It’s short. Look at the panda. It’s fat.

Look at the giraffe. It’s tall. Look at the elephant. It’s big. 二、导入：

Look at the picture. 1、What animals can you see? I can see . 2、Where are they ? They are .（出示课题）

三、新授：

（一）观察图画，感知词汇

2、展示会话内容，并评价。

3、These animals are our friends. We should product them. 五、课外延伸，布置作业

1、Draw your favorite animal. 2、Introduce favorite animal to your friend.
