Teaching Design for Unit 5 of Grade 5
“sounds and words”
教学目标:复习以前学过的字母和字母组合的发音,熟练掌握OW的发音,学会用自然拼读法拼读任何单词。
学情分析:5年级学生,10—11岁,男孩26个,女孩20个,学生基本上是打工子弟,父母为生活忙碌,无暇估计孩子,学生基础一般,但学习兴趣浓厚。
教学内容:6个生词,OW的发音,一篇文章A BROWN COW.
教学环节:
1.Free talk: (目的:通过free talk,和学生互动,拉近和孩子们的距离,引出sing a phonics song .) 2’
Hello, boys and girls! Nice to meet you!... How are you today ?... Great! Do you like songs?... Ok, let’s listen to the music and sing a song.
2.Listen and sing a phonics song. (孩子们唱有节奏感的语音歌,很开心。复习语音,引出本节课要学习的内容) 5’
3.Review some sounds:Do you like this song? …This song is about sounds and words. Today we are going to study some sounds and words. Please turn to page 63. Before that, let’s review these sounds: w h c d n br cr tr dr fr fl sh er.(目的:复习之前学过的sounds, 为今天的拼读课所用)2’4.Present 6 new words:谈论4 photos, 呈现出6个新单词,拼读生词。然后让学生找出这6个单词的共同点。4’
5.Learn sounds of OW and sounds of the six words. Look at the screen, Ow ow ow ow ow ow /аu / …….let’s see” what is it”.
Cow, how, flower, down, wow, brown. (学习本课的语音和单词自然拼读)4’6.A chant. (目的:通过说唱孩子们喜欢玩的chant,在玩乐中,他们不知不觉就练习了ow的发音,以及6个新单词的拼读) 5’
7.Spelling Game: Show the calendar. Do a demonstration first. 4 pupils- -a team, each team has a calendar. Ask the pupils to read the sounds and words.(在拼读游戏中,拓展了对语音的学习,同时让孩子们发现通过今天的学习,他们也能自然地拼读很多英语单词,通过这节课自然拼读法的学习,孩子们找到了成就感) 5’
Ask one or two teams to show. 3’
8.Study Part 2:Take out the paper I prepared for you. Say: Listen carefully, and fill in the blanks. Then check the answer.(落实6个单词的拼写) 5’
9.Extension(拓展):3’
1. How did the owl (猫头鹰) come down from the tower(塔)?
2. Ow (嗷)!Don’t do that!
3. The cow walks in the shower.(阵雨)
10.Homework: 1’
1. OW: [əu]e.g. know/ snow/. Find some words like these. Next time we ‘ll talk about that. To be continued.
2. Read part 1 and 2 on page 63.
11.Go over what we learnt today. 1’
教学评价:本节课完成了教学任务,达到了教学目标,教学效果优秀,学生很愉快地学习。在快乐的学习氛围中,掌握了语音和词汇,孩子们学会了自然拼读,他们能够拼读单词,有成就感。
