Chinese people invented paper 一、教材分析

本单元功能是谈论人类过去的发明。本功能的语用目的是用过去时态描述人类过去的发明。

本单元是以Chinese inventions为题的对话，具体内容是：教师在课堂上向学生介绍中国的四大发明中的造纸术和印刷术。学生在与教师的互动中谈论印刷术在印刷书籍和报纸方面的应用，Sam展示了他印刷的报纸。

本单元是继续学习过去时态的表达方式，主要语言结构：

Chinese

people invented...的理解与运用。

本单元的词语学习目标是学习printing 、print的区分

，名词paper，动词invent，print 以及它们的过去式，形容词：important，复习paper，people等名词。

二、学情分析

掌握过去时态的学习是这学期的重点学习内容。通过前三模块的学***部分学生能准确理解和基本运用过去时态的肯定句、否定句形式，以及规则动词过去式的变化规律及其发音。本课时学习中帮助学困生学习巩固过去时态的肯定句形式，以及规则动词过去式的变化规律。

三、设计意图

以聪明（clever）贯穿整节课，从刚开始的热身环节（复习过去式的单词），表扬学生非常聪明。到第一部分，小猫设计自行车和船结合，夸赞小猫，学生模仿语音语调。到课题中的Chinese people ,老师解释所有在座的都是中国人，作为中国人我很自豪。问问学生为什么，引发兴趣,并导入到正式的文本学习中。

第一次听课文之前询问学生中国人是否聪明，为什么？中国人都有哪些发明？都是谁发明的？让学生带着问题听课文。回答问题并操练句型。问问学生Are you proud ?，让学生带着自豪的感情读句子。

第二次听课文，引导学生，我们发明了纸和造纸术，那么我们可以用来做什么呢？提出三个问题？(1)What do they print? (2)What did Sam print? (3)Where is it? 跟读课文，自主练习。小组合作，表演对话（模仿语音语调）

中国是一个伟大的国家，你们知道四大发明都有哪些？还有那些物品是中国人发明的？再和学生们练习Chinese people invented...句型的肯定形式

否定形式。

利用 Chinese Inventions，小组合作，把所学用于实际交流中，感受作为中国人的自豪感，热爱我们的国家。

四、Teaching aims教学目标

知识目标：

1.学生能够理解和认读文本内容，

能够听、说、读、写单词invented, paper, printing, printed, newspaper和句子Chinese people invented paper. Chinese people invented printing. I printed this newspaper.

2.学生能够理解print, printing的区别，能够把握过去式printed, invented的发音。

3.复习强化people, book等名词

。

技能目标：

1.学生能够复述文本主要内容。

2.学生能够运用Chinese people invented...介绍中国的发明。

情感目标：

1.在积极参与教学活动中体会到学习的快乐。

2.通过四大发明对世界的巨大贡献，感受作为中国人的自豪感，热爱我们的国家。

语用目标：

1.学生能够运用句型结构... is important. Chinese people invented ... Chinese people didn't invent...进行真实的表达。

2. 学生能够合作制作英语报纸，运用用过去时态描述人类过去的发明，主要运用句型… people

invented ...写成介绍中国和国外发明的英语新闻。
