1.理解英文中的第三人称单数现象。

2.学生能够大胆创编并表演询问和描述他人的居住地、兴趣、爱好等信息的小对话。

教学过程：

一．

Warm up T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. So glad to meet you here today. Look, there are some teachers here too, would you please stand up and say “Good afternoon!” to our teachers? T: Well done. You are all polite. Are you ready for our lesson? Do you like playing games? Let’s play a game before our class, OK? You are going to listen to a short passage and show me the meaning by actions.

T: One day, you are taking a trip with your friends in a town. All of you are having a good time. Some are listening to music, some are dancing, some are singing songs, some are reading funny stories, some are playing football, some are doing kung fu, some are eating. Suddenly, you hear a big sound. Oh, my god! It’s a tiger! You run at once, and you are running back to our classroom. T: So, do you like this game? I like playing funny games, I also like making friends, too. I like making friends from different cities and countries, we can write letters to our friends, and now we can write an e-mail or use QQ, WeChat to our friends. So today we are going to learn Unit 4 I have a pen pal.

二．Presentation 1.T: This is the first time I meet you, I want to make friends with you, too. May I know something about you?

Show the cards and ask the Ss: Do you like drawing pictures? Do you like reading books? Do you often see a film on the weekend? Do you live in Shaoguan? Ss: Yes, I do.

T: Me, too. I live in Shaoguan. We all live in Shaoguan. 2. T : Do you do word puzzles ? S1: Yes, I do. S2: No, I don’t.

Repeat their answers: He does word puzzles.

3. Let’s do word puzzles: Which word can you find in the puzzle? Find the word “cook Chinese food” and learn the new word. 4. Practice: I cook Chinese food. They cook Chinese food. We cook Chinese food. He/ She cooks Chinese food.

5. The same way to learn the new phrases:
