Sing the song Apple round apple red. 3. Review the words about the fruits. 二、Presentation 1.教师请学生猜谜语，It’s red, it’s round, but it’s not apple. Who can guess it? 学生迅速回答：It’s a tomato.鼓励学生“You are so clever!”并板书单词：tomato. 练习：Who wants to be the little teacher?

然后出示许多西红柿的图片，然后问：What are these? 生回答：They are tomatoes.师此时用红粉笔标出es,强调其复数形式的特殊性。

Chant: tomatoes, tomatoes, I like tomatoes. 2.课件呈现一个土豆，问What’s this? 生答：It’s a potato.

教师教读单词并板书potato，指导学生观察教师的口型。

练习：Where is the little train? 出示许多土豆图片，引导学生运用potato和tomato的相似性，推出其复数形式，并标出es. Chant: Potatoes, potatoes, I like potatoes.

课件呈现一根胡萝卜，问What’s this? 生答：It’s a carrot.

教师教读单词并板书carrot,c-a-r-r-o-t, carrot. 练习：Magic fingers. 师出示许多个胡萝卜，问What are these? 生答They’re carrots.

并板书其复数形式：carrots. Chant: carrots, carrots, carrots I will try. 4.

课件呈现一筐四季豆，问What are these?生答They’re green beans.师指导学生发音并拼写green beans. 练习：男女生比赛读。

Chant: green beans, green beans, I love to eat green beans. 5.

播放动画，思考：How many vegetables are there on the table? 生反馈：Four. 师教读对话“Look at the green beans. They’re so long!Yes, and the potatoes are big.”并注意语调。

Pair-work: Read the dialogue with your partner. Role-play:戴头饰进行角色扮演并评比表扬。

三、Consolidation and extension 教学A.Let’s chant, 播放动画，学生跟唱两遍,师指导onions发音。

四、Summary Today we learned some new words about vegetables. Eating more vegetables is good for our health, so we should eat more vegetables. OK?

五、Homework

1. Read the new words to your partner.读新单词给你的同伴听。
