Task presentation:

We are going to have a class party. Look, this is our party poster template. We’ll prepare for the party later, OK? Boys and girls, what about our old friends? What are they doing? Are they going to have a party? Let’s go and see.

Step3 Text learning: 1. Interpreting the text Picture 1:

Who are they?

Guiding students to think: What are they doing? What are they talking? Where are they? 2. Listen and check. Where is Simon’s Mum? What is she doing? Picture 2: Guiding students to think these questions：

Is Simon’s mum happy? What is Simon doing? Who can help Simon’s Mum? Picture 3: Guiding students to think these questions：
