教材分析

Unit5的三个话题紧紧围绕情绪情感这个主题展开。这一部分主要是由李红的哭泣引出伤心的情感，进而由Miss Wang的出现引出安慰及建议等用语。在语言知识上继续学习原因状语从句和系表结构，并复习怎样提建议。

教法和学法

情境教学法，任务型教学法和交际教学法。

教学目标

1、

知识目标

语言知识方面，主要是学习情感情绪和提建议的词句，如feeling等。

语法方面，继续学习原因状语从句，复习系表结构。

功能用语方面，主要谈论如何安慰别人和提建议，如Don’t worry. There, there! It’ll be OK. I’m feeling really sad.

2、

能力目标

进一步提高听力能力和语言表达能力。

训练学生快速思维能力。

培养学生与人合作解决问题的能力。

3、

情感目标

学会如何正确表达发泄自己的情绪情感。

学会关注和关心身边的人，知道怎样去安慰别人，并提出好的建议。

让学生参与到活动中去，体验集体的力量和合作成功的乐趣，并体验到实现自我价值的幸福。

四、

教学重点和难点

1 重点：怎样去表达自己的情绪，怎样安慰别人，并给出实质性的建议及相应的表达。

2 难点：小组活动中的语言表达。培养学生学英语的兴趣和树立学生说英语的信心。

教学过程

feelings? (Show the pictures and say.) 2 Presentation. T: Last period we learnt that Li Hong cried in the bathroom. Do you remember why? Ss: She is new here, and she did badly in the English exam. She is a quiet and shy girl. She feels very lonely because she has no friends to talk with. T: Helen was worried about Li Hong. How did she help her? Ss: Helen wrote a card to cheer Li Hong up and told Miss Wang about it, and Miss Wang wanted to have a talk with Li Hong. T: Do you know what they talk about? Let’s listen and learn what they are talking about. 3 Practice Finish 1b. Listen to 1a and tick the problems and suggestions you hear. Check. Finish 1c. Read 1a and fill in the blanks with the correct phrases. Check. Watch the flash and try to understand these sentences: Don’t worry. There, there!
