Unit 1 The balloons are flying away.

一、教学目标:

知识目标:四会单词balloon;掌握句型:The balloons are flying away. Who can help me? I can help you. Sorry, I can’t.

能力目标:学会用英语讲述正在发生的事情;学会用英语表达向他人寻求帮助,并根据实际情况说明自己能否向他人提供帮助。

情感目标:培养学生乐于助人的好习惯。

二、教学重点、难点

教学重点:学会用英语讲述正在发生的事情;学会用英语表达向他人寻求帮助,并根据实际情况说明自己能否向他人提供帮助。

教学难点:培养学生应用英语的能力,把所学知识应用到生活中。三、教具准备

多媒体课件、图片、单词卡片、磁铁。

四、教学过程

Step 1. Warming up

1.Greeting

2. Play a game: Look and say the sentences.

PPT出示图片,学生讲述图片上人物正在做的事。

3. Listen and chant.

PPT出示活动一的歌谣,学生边看边听一遍录音,跟说歌谣并做出相应的动作。

Step2. Learn new word and lead in.

1.先画一个气球学习balloon,再添几个气球,学习balloons。

2.画几个飞走的气球学习词组fly away。

3.学习句子The balloons are flying away.并板书课题。

Step3. Presentation

1.Listen and do.

Clap your hands when you hear the words with ‘-ing’, except the word ‘everything, going’.

2. 听录音,试着回答问题。

(1)Where is Simon’s mum ?

(2)What is Simon doing?

(3)What’s the matter with Simon’s mum?

(4)Who can help Simon’s mum?

(5)What is happening(发生)to the balloons?

3.精讲点拨。

Simon’s mum wants to ask for helping, what can she say?

If you can help, what can you say?

If you can’t help, what can you say?

4.The secret of the happiness.

Helping others will benefit yourself as well. Let’s try our best to help others.

5.听录音跟读。

Step4. Practice

1.小组内分角色朗读课文。

2.谁来帮助我?

让学生观察活动四的三幅情景图片并用英语描述出来。教师给以指导。

学生三人一组表演“谁来帮助我?”的游戏,不能提供帮助的同学要说明理由。

For example:

S1: My books are falling. Who can help me?

S2: I can help you.

S3: Sorry, I can’t. I am doing my homework.

教师先让学生在小组内表演,然后上台展示,评选“优秀表演小组”和“优秀演员”,并给以奖励。

Step 5. Extension

Make a song.

My oranges are falling. My oranges are falling. Who can help me? Who can help me? I can help you. I can help you. Sorry, I can’t. I’m on the phone.

用两只老虎的调,试唱上面的词。

用其他句子替换My oranges are falling.学着唱。

Step 4. Homework

A:写五个现在进行时的句子.

Write five present continuous tense sentences.

B:假设今天是妈妈的生日,根据活动二内容编写一个对话.还要涉及帮助话题.

If today is your mother’s birthday, please make a dialogue according to this unit, using help topic.
