Unit 7 Time The Second Period
一、教学内容:Vocabulary, Target, chant and Practice 二、教学目标
1.认知目标
(1)能听懂、会说、认读单词: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve。
(2)能认读单词: time, o’clock, eleven, twelve。
(3)能认读并熟练运用What time is it? It’s ...o’clock. Is it ...o’clock? Yes it is. /No, it isn’t. (4)能说唱歌谣What time is it? (5)能完成配套的练习Picture 1和补充笔头练习。
2.能力目标
(1)学会设置时间并表达时间。
(2)学会用英语谈论时间。
(3)通过小组合作活动,培养学生多读、多说、多用的良好学习习惯和团结协作、共同努力的精神。
3.情感目标
(1)努力创造一种和谐、平等、愉悦的学习氛围,激发学生爱好学习英语的情感。
(2)培养学生敢于开口、积极参与的学习态度,是学生能得到成功的体验,建立学习的自信心。
(3)引导学生要珍惜宝贵的时间,不要虚度光阴。
三、教学重点难点:
重点单词:one o’clock, two o’clock ... twelve o’clock 12个时间短句。
重点句型:What time is it? It’s ...o’clock. Is it ...o’clock? Yes it is. / No, it isn’t . 难点:o’clock 的发音和运用,学生易与a clock 混淆。
四、教学策略
A教学方案
(1)运用歌曲歌谣教学技巧,并创设情景,让学生自然拾得语言。
(2)运用直观和游戏等教学法,激发学生的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。
B.教具准备
(1)教师准备:a big clock,
Gogo’s and Tony’s mask,the sentence cards, a big paper clock for board-design ,
CAI,etc
五、教学过程
I .Warm-up: 1. I’m very happy today. Many friends come to our classroom. T:((C:))Welcome.

Gogo, Tony… : Thank you. 2. Sing the number song.
3. Hello, girls and boys. I have many clocks. I’m happy today. Are you happy? II. Review: 1.Wow, so many clocks. How many clocks? Let’s count. 2. Read and act the numbers from one to ten.
III. Presentation--Vocabulary Target
1.Lead in the new numbers“
eleven, twelve”
and write on the board, then learn them. 2. Lead in the word “time” and then learn it. 3. Lead in the sentence“
What time is it?”
and write on the board, then practice. 4. T gets Ss answer and leads in “It’s eleven/... o’clock.”
5. Look at the clocks and tell the time“What time is it?
It’s ......clock.”
6. Listen and follow the record about Vocabulary. 7. Look, ask and answer quickly. What time is it? It’s ... o’clock 8. Pair Work with the sentences “What time is it? It’s ...o’clock.”
9. T points to a clock and asks: Is it twelve o’clock ? Ss answer. Then Teacher write on the board. 10.
Group work. Ask and answer with the sentences “Is it ..... o’clock?”
11. Listen and follow the tape of Target by the question:
Can Gogo talk about the time? 12. Role-reading. (Pay attention to imitation.) 13.
Lead in the song. What time is it? 14. Game time.Using the sentences to ask somebody. What time is it,...? .... Is it ..... o’clock,...? ... Let’s.... IV. Consolidation
