教学目标：

1、通过展示表情图复习表达情绪的单词。

2、能够通过阅读训练在语篇中捕捉不同类型的信息，提炼出文章的主旨大意，完成排序题。

3、能够根据阅读所获取的信息完成故事缩写活动并能口头复述。

4、能够明白要善待他人，不要以貌取人，团结就是力量的道理。

5、能够根据例句提示在文段中找到更多同类现象，能够正确朗读句子和语篇。

教学重难点

教学准备：

多媒体课件，表情图片,Robin和蚂蚁头饰,学生课前绘制表情图

教学过程

一、Greeting and Warming-up 1、Greeting and Free-talk T:Good afternoon, boys and girls./How are you?/What day is it today?/What’s the weather like ?/Do you like…?/ Can you guess, how do I feel? 2、Show the paintings and review the words and sentences. T:Look at my picture, how does he/she feel? Now, it’s your turn. Show your picture and tell us how do you feel? 二、Pre-reading T: We are happy today. Someone is happy, too. That’s Robin. Do you know why? He is going for a walk. （Show the PPT and tell the story）

三、While-reading 1、T：This is the story: Robin and the ant. Now, open your book and turn to Page62. Listen to the tape and then finish this part: Number the pictures. （Ask the students to listen and then number the pictures）

2、The students read after the teacher. After reading each part, the students answer the questions. What’s the weather like?/ Robin is going to sit on the grass. How does the ant feel?/ Will Robin sit on the ant?/ Robin is struck in the mud. How does he feel?/ The ants pull Robin out of the mud. How does everyone feel? 3、Ask the question: What does the story tell us? 4、Read the key words 5、All the students read the story together and finish this part: Fill in the blanks. 四、Post-reading：

1、The whole class retell the story 2、Ask some students to show the story 五、Tips for pronunciation.
