Step1:Greeting

T: Hello,boys and girls. How are you?

S: I’m fine, thank you!

T: I’m fine, too. I’m feeling happy. Are you happy?

S: Yes

T: W hat’s the weather like today?

S: I t’s sunny.

T: Let’s listen and chant (Do it together)

Step2:Review the words about the weather and clothes

T: Review the weather with PPT. It’s going to be warm/hot/sunny/. Windy/cold. Review the clothes with PPT (we should choose the right clothes according to the weather) words: T-shirt dress hat coat. Learn new words raincoat. (Ask them read it .if they answer right give a star to their group ) I am wearing -----------

Step3:Lead in

Play on the phone (Guess Guess )Where are they?

The sheep is visiting some cities ,But the slow sheep didn’t know where

they are .Listen to the phone and the weather report then guess.

Step4:listen to the text

Listen to the video and repeat it

T: Look at page 47 part 2.It is sunny, but Tom is wearing a raincoat. Why? Now learn the sentences (learn the four sentences with PPT)

Why are you wearing a raincoat?

Because it’s going to rain.

Because it’s going to be sunny .

Why are you wearing a T-shirt?

Because I’m going to play basketball.

Why are you wearing a dress?

Because I’m going to the theatre.

(Read in pairs, read in group, boys and girls read, read together. )

Step5: Practice . M ake a dialogue use “why because”.

Ask pupils draw and find friends

Give them five minutes remember the sentences and draw the clothes. Then come in front of the classroom and act in part.)
