本节课以复习课室词汇和简单句型Is this/that the…..？为基础，引入学校话题，介绍一群小动物们来参观河马先生的学校，在整个教学过程中，锻炼了学生听、说、读各个方面，同时也培养了学生在阅读过程中，读故事，抓要素的能力。通过学习小故事，也教育孩子热爱学校，养成良好的生活，学习习惯。本节课主要特点：

1.

歌曲导入，活跃了课堂氛围，激发了学生学习兴趣。

2.

教学设计结构紧凑，过度自然，层层递进。

3.

以学生为主体，大胆放手，让他们大胆去说，去演。

4.

采用PPT课件，加深了孩子的印象。

不足之处：课件制作不连贯，有待改进。一部分学生内容掌握不熟，参与活动不积极。
