一、Teaching content:

Part 3 of Unit 6 My Day in the book of New Parade

二、Perception objective:

The students can read, say and hear the four phrases: eat dinner, brushes teeth, take a shower and go to bed.

三、Ability objective:

The students can use the phrases to express what Mary does in a day.

四、Emotion objective:

1. Increase the students’ interest to improve the ability of speaking oral English.

2. Keep the habit of going to bed early and getting up early. 五、The key point:

The students can use and say the sentence patterns : Mary eats dinner/ brushes her teeth / takes a shower / goes to bed at night.

六、The difficult point:

The singular third person ( eat---eats, brush---brushes, take---takes, go----goes)

七、Teaching processes:

(一)Warm-up:

1、English song: Dance, Thumbkin, Dance

2、Oral English.

(二) Revision

1. What does Mary do in the morning?

Mary gets up/ eats breakfast / goes to school / gets dressed in the morning.

2. What does Mary do in the afternoon?

She eats lunch / watches TV.

(三)Presentation

1. Ask Ss what does Mary do at night? Then present picture and learn new words and phrases. eat dinner, brushes teeth, take a shower and go to bed.

2.Play games to remember the new words and phrases.

3.Present new sentences.

Mary eats dinner.

She takes a bath.

She brushes her teeth.

She goes to bed.

4..Singular third person.

eat---eats, brush---brushes, take---takes, go----goes, watch---watches,

wash----washes, comb----combs.

(四)Practice:

1. Ask and answer

- What does Mary do at night?

- She goes to bed / takes a bath / brushes her teeth/ goes to bed.

2. Sing a song again.

3. Finish the Exs in the workbook.
