Warm-up/Revision 1.
Greetings T:Good afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Miss He. T: OK, sit down, please. Ss: Thank you. T(介绍奖励机制): I bring you a gift.Look! What are these? Ss: Candies! T: Yes, I bring you some colorful candies. Today, I divide you into G1/2/3/4. Let’s have a race. Let’s see which group can get more candies! Ss: OK! 2.
Review: 教师通过Quick Response游戏来考考学生对五年级上册Unit 8 B部分词组的掌握程度。全班齐声读出相关词组: wash the vegetables/ water the plants/ make the bed/ cook a meal...... ②
Presentation T: (显示母亲节日期)Boys and girls,Let’s read this date together1 (全班朗读 May 8th, 顺便复习本学习第六单元英文日期形式表达)
S: May 8th. T: (显示2016年日历,指向5月8日)Good job.Now, look at this calendar, what festival is it? Ss: It’s Mother’s Day! T: Bingo! Do you love your mother? Ss: Yes, we do. T: Yeah, I love my mother, too. Let’s watch a video about Mother’s Day. (给学生播放母亲节视频,为接下来的句型教学做铺垫) ... T:(看完视频后,教师一边展示母亲照顾孩子图片一边说)Our mothers are beautiful and kind. They love us, they take care of us. So we need to do something for our mothers, yes or no? Ss: Yes! T(展示母亲节快乐图片): What will you do for your mother? You can say “I’ll ...” (板书句型) Ss: I’ll say “Happy Mother’s Day”! (通过大组问答来操练对话,初步熟悉句型) T: Pay attention here. “I’ll” equals to “I will” (板书) T(出示刚刚热身时读过的词组):Money can’t buy everything. What will you do for your mother? (让四个大组通过“What will you do for your mother? I’ll ... for my mother.”来进行大组之间的问答,也渗透情感教育:为妈妈做些家务事分担辛劳比买礼物更有心意) T(进入A课文学习):Mother’s Day is coming! What will they do for their mothers? First, let’s watch a video and answer the question 1.(学生看视频,完成导学案第一个问题:In this dialogue, when’s Mother’s Day?) T: Then, turn to page 25, read it by yourself and fill in the form.(让
学生打开书,自行阅读,完成表格填空题) T:Time’s up! Let’s check the answers! (全班一起读出答案) (完成表格填空后,对Lingling,Peter,Anne,Mingming为母亲做的事情进行提问和延伸)
句型延伸的例子:
T:If you are Lingling, what will you write on Mother’s Day card?/What will you draw on Mother’s Day card?/ What color will you paint on Mother’s Day card? (目的:通过提示“I’ll write/draw/paint...”让学生自动使用一般将来时的句子,此处宜多给学生思考的时间,并给予相关情景材料,让学生打开词汇网,说出句子。) 重点词汇解释和延伸:
T:If you are Peter, What will you buy for your mother? (进行完句型延伸,思维发散后,对单词favourite进行教学) T: Good job! Peter knows his mother well. Let’s do a research! (“亲自大调查”环节,看看同学们是否了解自己的妈妈,让学生多多在语句中练习单词favourite的发音)
T:What’s your mother’s favourite food/colour? S7: My mother’s favourite food/colour is ... (从学生日常生活出发,提出问题,词不离句,让学生在回答中感知单词意思)

Writing-Practice T: Let’s speak out our love! Take out your paper and write a passage to your mother/ father! I’ll give you 4 minutes to write it down, and then speak out your love on the stage.(“大声说出你的爱”环节:让学生写写会为爸爸/妈妈做些什么,表达自己对爸爸/妈妈的爱。教师先在讲台上念出自己的短文,提供模板。之后让学生上台大声说出对爸爸妈妈的感激之情。)
T:All of you loves your parents very much. So we should speak our love aloud! (渗透情感教育:爱要大声说出来,不要总是藏在心里。) T:Homework for you, read this passage aloud to your mother/ father!(家庭作业:让学生把写好的短文大声读给妈妈/爸爸听) T:Class is over, goodbye! Boys and girls! Ss: Goodbye, Miss He. 板书设计:
