1、导入

Greeting. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, teacher. T:

Today we’ll begin to learn Unit 4, lesson23 At the Zoo. 领读课题。

2、出示本节课学习目标，指导学生明确学习目标。

3、通过句型——What’s this?

——It’s a ...复习第一单元动物的单词，为学习本课新单词做铺垫。

4、投影依次出示本课图片zoo, panda, monkey, elephant, T: What’s this?(指zoo) Ss: It’s a zoo.

板书zoo并领读，生拼读

T: What’s this?(指monkey) Ss: It’s a monkey. 板书并领读，生拼读

T: What’s this?(指elephant) Ss: It’s an elephant.

板书并领读，生拼读

(学生可能读音不准，教师适当纠正。) 5、通过投影图片导学big, small, fat, thin T: The......is........ 围绕四个单词（big, small ,fat, thin ）

师生进行对话练习。The......is........ 通过不同的图画，巩固练习。

6、游戏（猜单词）

课件展示动物的部分身体，通过用big, small, fat, thin等形容词的描述，让学生猜是什么动物，通过学生喜欢的形式让学生掌握本课所学单词和句型。看一看哪个同学反应最快，回答最准确。

7、达标练习

8、本课小结，布置作业。
