一、教学目标：

(一）知识与技能目标：

1. 能听懂、会说、认读和书写词汇：day, today, week 能听懂、会说、认读词汇：Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 2. 能理解并口头运用句子：What day is it? It's _______. （二）情感目标：乐于模仿，敢于开口。

（三）学习策略目标：注意倾听，积极思考。

二、教学重点： 1. 词汇：day, today, week 2. 句型：What day is it? It's ________. 三、教学难点：熟练运用所学句型进行交际交流. 四、教学过程：

I. Warm up Greetings and review. 1. 复习衣服类单词：What’s this? （卡片或图片）

It's a _____(颜色） _____（衣服）。

（先师生问答两组后就改为生生问答）

Let’s have a look. 学生观看第一部分教学光盘，思考：What do they talk about? Introduce: week 星期 How many weeks are there in a month? How many weeks are there in a year? day 天 How many days are there in a week? How many days are there in a month/year? today 今天, What day is today? 今天星期几？

What are you wearing today? 让学生试着读一读这些单词，注意画线部分的读音：

week, see, teeth, feet, knee

3. 教师使用日历练习句型：What day is today? It's ______. (师生问答两组后，就改为生生问答，将更多的机会给予学生，让他们多说多练）。

T: What day do you like? Sunday or Friday? Why? Do you know something about the week? (教师根据学生好奇心和求知欲强的特点，可适当介绍一些有关星期的知识，如第一天为什么是星期天，星期的由来等。）

III. Practice 1. Sing the song: He’s wearing red trousers. First talk about the pictures: What day is it? What’s he/she wearing? Then sing the song in different ways.(鼓励学生改编或创新歌曲。）

2. Letters and sounds学生跟着光盘读这些单词，尤其关注标注的字母的发音及规律，并试着想想学过的类似的单词，如：

a: apple, cat, sad e: leg, egg, elephant i: big, fish, milk, swim o: hot, pop, bottle u: but, cup, mum VI. Homework sing the song.
