Unit 8 More practice - Never give up 语篇类型：属于记叙文阅读语篇，是以故事的形式呈现。

语篇内容：介绍了Jane和她的好朋友大猩猩的故事，主要讲述了Jane教材

如何将她的爱好变成了她一生的事业。指导学生从Jane身上学到她优分析

良的品质，永不放弃等精神，并学会如何将自己的爱好变成自己未来的事业。

认知水平：学生对于自己的“爱好”以及身边的优良品质比较熟悉，有利于开展本课的任务。学生通过初一上学期以及近半个学期学习，了解并运用了阅读的微技能，比如扫读和精读，获取信息应该不成问题。

语言水平：本文的句子结构以简单句为主，并列句、状语从句的出现，学情

分析

对学生并不会构成障碍，因此让学生在整段的段落语篇中寻找主题句，以及支撑主题句的内容非常有必要。本文中有适量生词，但对理解主干信息不构成障碍，在阅读一遍后可以把重要词汇展现出来，有助于学生读懂文章。
