一、教材分析

本课出自外研社《英语》（新标准）（三年级起点）六年级下册Module1 Unit1 I want a hot dog, please.本单元的话题是在快餐店点餐。本单元的课文情境是Daming和表哥Simon以及Simon的爸爸一起在快餐店点餐。Simon问Daming想吃什么，Daming不知道该点些什么，看到菜单上的热狗，就问Simon这是否是真的狗。Simon说这不是狗，并指着菜单上热狗的图给Daming看。Daming觉得看上去不错，就点了热狗，Simon和爸爸点了汉堡包，三人又点了可乐。Daming主动要求端食物，结果一不小心把可乐洒到了Simon的新短裤和鞋子上。通过学习本课课文，使学生能够运用所学语言如何在快餐店点餐。本课的内容贴近学生的生活实际，有利于培养学生在真实的语言情景中运用英语进行交际的能力。本课一课时完成。

二、学情分析

六年级的学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降，两极分化比较严重。所以本学期应做好学困生的转化工作。教师应该面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，注意分层教学，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法培养学生良好的学习习惯。本模块在语言上主要是进一步强化复习一般现在时和数词的运用。

学习运用“Can I help you?”

“I want…”以及“How much is it? It's…”的句型结构，帮助学生运用所学语言在快餐店点餐。通过本课学习，了解西方的饮食文化。

三、教学目标

（一）复习导入Warm-up and lead-in（ 4分钟）

1. Greetings. 2. Game：Let’s play a word chain game.(食物单词接龙游戏，先把学生分成两个组，可用食物名称来命名组名哪组说的食物多，且不重复哪组就获胜。如：A：rice，B：noodles，…) 【设计意图】通过紧张刺激的游戏营造轻松愉快的英语学习氛围，活跃课堂气氛，而且能复习已学过的食物单词，为学习新知做好铺垫。

3.Free talk: Talk about food in the holiday. T: Are you happy during the Spring Festival?

1. Look at the first picture in Activity2. T：Where are Daming, Simon and Simon’s dad?

Ss: They are in a fast food restaurant. Please watch the CD-ROM with one question: What are they doing?

2. OK! Please read the dialogue silently and find out the answers. Show the questions on PPT：

Is a hot dog really a dog?
