Module2 Unit 1 When are we going to eat? 一、教材分析

本课的课文情境是Daming和Simon跟着Simon的妈妈一起去野餐。后来Simon饿了,就问妈妈什么时候吃饭,妈妈回答说12点半,而现在才11点半,还有一个小时的时间。这时,他们看到池塘里有一群鸭子,Simon觉得它们很可爱。Daming看到天空中有乌云,担心快下雨了。Simon的妈妈则认为天气很好,不会下雨。终于到12点半了,大家准备开始野餐,可是突然下起了雨。Simon的妈妈让大家去亭子下躲雨,这时鸭子们吃掉了他们的食物,妈妈说这回Simon得饿肚子了。

本课在语言上主要是进一步强化复习一般将来时的运用,主要任务是谈论自己的周末计划,语言难度相对不大,教学时可多给英语学习有困难的学生更多的展示机会。

二、学情分析

六年级的学生即将毕业进入初中,将会在新的环境中接触到更多的人,交流面也将会更加宽广,希望能通过学习提高自己的表达能力和交际能力。但是部分学生对英语有恐惧,如果教师的讲课内容精彩,方式新颖,有趣味性,可能会激起他们的学习兴趣,从而爱上英语。

“We are(I am)

going to+动词原形”这一句型是小学阶段的一重点句型,它表示将来打算、计划去做或者有意去做的事。在日常生活中有广泛的运用频率。通过对这一句型的学习巩固,使得学生提高对情景和时间的表达。

三、教学目标

1、语言技能

(1)全体学生能听懂会说“When are we going to eat?”

(2)全体学生能按照要求完成语句书写。

(3)全体学生能够运用“be going to”谈论计划。

2、语言知识

(1)全体学生能够理解“later、to go、duck、pond、cloud、dry、like、look like、stay”,并能运用“duck、like”;部分学生能运用“later、to go、pond、cloud、dry、look like、stay”。

(2)全体学生能运用“When are we going to eat?”

3、情感态度

敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误。

4、学习策略

对所学内容能主动复习和归纳。

5、文化意识

知道英语国家中典型的食物和饮料的名称。

四、教学重、难点

1、重点

(1)全体学生能够理解“later、to go、duck、pond、cloud、dry、like、look like、stay”,并能运用“duck、like”。

(2)全体学生能听懂会说“When are we going to eat?”并谈论自己计划。

2、难点

全体学生能够运用“be going to”谈论计划。

五、教学准备

教师准备:PPT课件、录音机、单词卡片、彩色粉笔。

六、教学过程

(一)复习导入Warm-up and lead in(6分钟)

1. Greetings. 2. Free talk. (1).

What’s the weather like today?

What are you going to do today? 【设计意图】通过简单的对话交流,增进师生间的互动,天气和计划的询问为下文学习做好铺垫。

3. Sing a song.

“What do you want to eat?”

【设计意图】通过学生熟悉的歌曲调动学生学习的积极性和热情。

4. Show the situation of Activity1 and watch the CD-ROM with a question. The question is “What time is it now?”

a. Answer the question first. b. Understand the sentences “I’m going to ….” and “You are going to ….”

c. Listen and repeat. d. Read it together. (二)任务呈现Task presentation(2 分钟)

1. Show the task. T: We’ll learn to use the structure “be going to” to talk about plans. After this, talk about your plans for the coming weekend. 【设计意图】通过交代学习任务,并布置学完之后要完成的任务,激发学生的学习热情。

(三)课文学习Text learning(14分钟)

1. Introduce the situation of Activity2 and watch the CD-ROM of Activity 2 with the question “What are they going to do in the park?”.

【设计意图】整体感知课文大意,为进一步理解课文含义做好话题方面的准备。

2. Read and find the answers to the two questions. The questions : a. When are they going to eat?

b. Is it a beautiful day? 【设计意图】通过从文中找答案的形式,训练学生对语篇的自主阅读能力。

3.Talk about the answers in groups. 【设计意图】通过小组交流,进一步理解课文含义,达成共识,为汇报交流做好准备。

4. Answer the questions, learn to understand the text and learn to say the new words and the main sentences with the help of PPT.

The main sentences to learn: When are they going to eat? At half past twelve. Look at the ducks! They are eating our sandwiches.

The new words to learn: later、to go、duck、pond、cloud、dry、like、look like、stay

The new words to learn to use: duck, like

【设计意图】通过汇报交流,进一步理解课文含义,在语境中感知、理解核心词汇及核心语句,借助图片及课件进一步学习词汇和语句,并对核心词汇能够学会运用,同时体会核心语句的语言功能。

5. Sum up the function and the grammar and then learn to use them with the help of PPT. 6. Listen and learn to say. (四)训练巩固

Practice(8分钟)

1. Read the dialogue by themselves.

2. Check up reading in roles.

3. Retell the main information according to the tips of the pictures and the words. 4. Finish Activity4: Look and write. Then ask and answers in pairs.

a. Show the example.

b. Look, say and write the sentences by themselves.

c. Show the answers and correct them. (五)任务完成

Task completion(8分钟)

The task: Talk about your plan for the coming weekend. 1. Be an interviewer. Get them to ask and answer with the following sentences in groups:

Q1: Where are you going to go at the weekend? Q2: When are you going to go there? Q3: How are you going to go there? Q4: What are you going to do there? 【设计意图】通过问答的形式让学生不断的进行“be going to”句式的练习,将所学知识真正运用到自己的生活中去,培养学生的语言交际能力。

2. Retell someone’s plan according to the answers.

3. Try to write down your plan with the help of the PPT.

【设计意图】根据问题提示先说出自己的计划,在说的基础上再将计划落到笔头,有扶有放,切实有效的培养了学生的书面表达能力。

4. Show it in class and correct the wrong sentences. (六)小结与布置作业

1. Summary Look at the blackboard, try to sum it up with the teacher’s help.

2. Homework. All of you:

1. Listen and read the dialogue five times.

2. Read and write the new words and sentences five times. Some of you:

Say and write something about your plan for the coming weekend.
