在本节课从一开始打招呼时就自然地导入新知Nice to meet you.。接下来，以主线人物杨玲和她的朋友们去公园野餐的情景引出新授内容——食物类单词，并运用韵律小诗对新单词进行渗透，这样可以让单词的教学有情境和趣味性。在此基础上，继续以主线人物杨玲来渗透句型Would you like a …? 、What about …?、Yes, please.和No, thank you.。

在课文学习部分，先通过听录音让学生找出文中出现的物品；然后让学生用前面渗透的句型对文本内容进行猜测；再播放课文动画，选择Helen到底想要哪种食物。让学生通过不同的形式整体感知文本，更有效地学习文本。接下来，以图文相配的形式带领学生逐句读课文；然后让学生在图片和板书的引导下，学习复述课文对话，巩固课文学习。

在课文学习过程中，需讲练结合，让学生充分体会人物对话时的语气，可以配上相应的表情和动作。在学生充分体会了对话人物的心情、表情、语气和动作后，佩戴头饰进行表演，这是课程快结束时对本节课学习成果的最整体的展示。最后，总结本节课所学习的内容，并让同学们学会分享。
